I actually don't like a lot of what's considered "current style" of choreography. Many current choreographer actually seem to over-choreograph. It's very busy to me. They don't allow for a breath between the beats; they choreograph every. single. note. It's way too much. So yeah. I would have prefer Tina's grace and subtlety. Sorry if that offends you.

I hope the choreography is dope. I was really hoping for a Tina Landon return. But I guess I can't have EVERYTHING I want.

Actually, Janet has been an Aaliyah stan since the 90s. I remember her speaking in a radio interview in New York--I think it was Z100--an they asked Janet about several female artists, Mary J.
