Its so crazy to me that she only released 2 studio albums in the 90's and was still the 2nd most successful artist of that decade. Can you imagine if she had did what Mariah did and saturated the market with music every year of the 90's?

I just read this article like 3 minutes ago. It came up on my goggle alert for Janet. More people should read it and realize what a great disservice that has been dealt to Janet.They want to credit Madonna with so much shit but forget to note that everybody who she influenced Janet also influenced. Especially in the case of Britney Spears. I fear now that this won't be recognized until Janet is no longer with us.

Update ~ The girl who auditioned for the part said that it had nothing to do with Bobby. She said that there is also a Michael character too. This film is suppose to pick up around 1989. So it could just be showing Whitney along with some of her peers. She also said that the Janet and Mj characters appear early on in the film.

Mark Walburg is a piece of work his damn self. Back in I think 2001 when The Planet of the Apes came out he said that he thought that one of the chimp characters looked like Janet. He tried to clean it up by saying that he thought that she was hot. What cell phone fiasco are you referring to? Prince can think that WHYDFML is his song all he wants to, but JANET is the one that performed it and made it famous NOT him. I don't know if he does this to shade Janet but he has been performing that song for years now.

Even with all of these celebrities (which in my honest opinion is not a lot when you compare the shade that Mj and Madonna have gotten) Janet has never once clapped back. Except for that one time against Madonna. She keeps it classy and stays above the BS. Its just another reason why I love and respect her not only as an artist, but a person as well.
