Damn you are on it! I just saw this on Twitter and got my entire life. That last gif of Janet is just beautiful and timeless. The young kids today need to read this. They think that Beyonce invented this shit! They have no idea that Janet perfected this 25 years ago.

I hope this isn't true, but I can't help feeling the same way. Janet has had disappearing acts before, but not to this extreme. I mean there are literally no pictures of her in the last what 6 months? I hope that she is okay and is being treated right. And if you notice since they have gotten married she has not used her twitter either(well except when Mandela died) even tho she was never on Twitter like that but still she would every now and then tweet something. I will always be a fan so l will just wait until she decides to make an appearance. I just don't have a good feeling about this....

I'am doubtful about the new music as well. At this point all I want is a new picture of Janet and I will be satisfied.

This is true. About a month ago I saw video of Malik Yoba at some ceremony, and the interviewer asked him about Janet. He got all excited because he thought she was there. The interviewer told him that she wasn't there, but she was being honored that night. I don't know what she was being honored for but it seems that Janet doesn't show up for a lot of things. But then again what major celebrity does?

In Janet's defense her team never put out that she was going. They usually tweet something to let us know that she would be there. So she probably had no plans on attending in the first place. I was so damn disappointed as well. We haven't seen Jan in such a long time. Did she forget that we exist? I mean I know that she is private and all but damn can we get a picture every 3-4 months or a tweet every so often. I will always love Janet and she will always be my fave, I just wish she would let us know how she's doing from time to time.

Well of course not! But lately I get the feeling that something just isn't right. Now that Janet failed to show up at this Amfar event ( which had been planned months ago) it has me thinking that my feelings maybe true. Unless Janet is pregnant and trying to hide it, I just don't get why she wouldn't show up. If she was there in Brazil at the hotel Fasano why did she miss the event? I hope there is no trouble in paradise between her and Wissam.

It is technically part her song, but more so Mj's because she is a feature on it and it appeared on his album. I just think that they could have picked a better video for her. I don't even think of "Scream" as one of Janet's best videos.

Beyonce was #2 that's why I said that she brought half of her awards because theirs no way in hell that she should be up there with Janet and Mj already. Whitney surprisingly came in at #6. I was sitting there saying now watch they play "That's the way love goes". But no they played "Scream" and to me even though I like that video I preferred to see one of Janet's own videos. Damn it like no matter what she has done they want to link it to Mj somehow someway and it pisses me off. Its just another reason for people to say oh she's there because of Mj.

Instead of playing one of her own videos they played "Scream". I was so pissed off that I flipped the channel. Nelly gave a great introduction(he was all excited and shit) to her but I felt that they disrespected her by playing Mj's video. Damn let Janet have her own shine without placing Mj in it all the damn time. And you know he ended up being #1 anyway. People just don't realize how awesome Janet really is. I mean for goodness sakes the woman beat out 98 other artist, well 99 if you ask me (Beyonce don't count because she brought half of her awards). Now that I'm done with my little rant i'm going to go watch some Janet videos with my daughters.

I agree with all if this, especially the RN part. The RN album was not only a concept album, but a visionary album. I mean she had a video for every hit song on that album. I've always seen Janet as a visionary. If you watch the behind the scenes of the making of RN she says that if she could grab peoples attention with the videos maybe then they will get the message in her music. Isn't that what visionaries do?
