Basically. I don't watch the news/engage in social media even before 2020 so ive kinda been like that for awhile. Chadwick's passing definitely gave me a jolt though. Now can I ask a question of...well, all it applies to? Why would anyone choose to watch the kinda footage of police brutality we've been seeing over the last few months in particular? Is it because you watch the news and see it? For me, the last thing I wanna see is somebody, especially of my ilk, being treated like a savage by those supposed to protect us. So am I just burying my head in the sand? I feel its in particularly bad taste when clips are passed around via phone...I still feel like you can be aware of what's going on but I know im probably in the minority.

I feel like I've desensitized myself to tragedy.

Well, I cannot dismiss your experience in the US. Its somewhat a different experience here yet I feel a underlying tension at present, which is being aggravated by the media. I actually believe its unhealthy to our psyche when we believe everything negative happens due to our skin. The guy could have been an arsehole, in a bad mood or hurry. He could have done the same to others at anytime. I guess for me, it has to be explicit or I can compare their behaviour in another situation. You had no clue about this dude other than that he beeped his horn! Once again im not trying to knock your experience, its just how I analyse things

I remember her driving a SUV somewhere, thought it was ATL...when she was on Tyra's show. But I have been genuinely wondering if she has driven since being in the UK...and I honestly thought she wouldn't! The busy streets and on the reverse side? Hell no! Then again, roads have been much calmer than preCov. Also, she has Lil E so a bigger car for him and all his presents makes sense. I love driving. Had my last car for a solid 10 years until it broke down last month. She was not worth fixing and I'm not in a position to buy another right now. I do have a new bicycle though, which has been a beautiful experience using. There is a whole new cycling revolution over here at the moment!
