I honestly think it’s far more likely that super Michael or Janet Jackson fans are the “blinded” ones. I’m a MASSIVE JJ stan, but I’m not gonna pretend like it’s not a very real possibility MJ was guilty of inappropriate behavior with these kids. His reality was warped. We all know it.
Everyone is screaming to believe victims when they come forward, but does that only apply when the accused isn’t a worshipped pop-culture hero?
I kind of understand Janet not wanting to believe such a thing as his sister. Her statement of “he didn’t have it in him” sounded almost cliche, though. Doesn’t every mom/brother/sister think that when a loved one is in a similar situation. It just doesn’t compute for them.
