  1. Great song and the remix is on point. One of her best slow jams.
  2. Dammn Baby and No Sleeep videos are now available on Itunes. I don't know if they will have an effect on the charts (Hot 100, etc.), but maybe more of her singles will become available on Itunes for sale.
  3. I was actually listening to both of these recently and they are both strong openers. However, when i first heard "Unbreakable," the song reminded me of how strong Janet can be vocally-such a great vocal performance from her.
  4. That's insane. I wish those videos could count towards Billboard or transfer to YouTube.
  5. Yeah. However the official add date is 5/10, but we can still request now since they have the song.
  6. Exactly. I have never understood why those two were not released as singles.
  7. Janet has proven great vocal ability on tracks such as Love Will Never Do (Without You), "What'll I Do" (wish that would have been released as a single), Enjoy, Make Me, and most of the songs on Unbreakable (Especially Gon Be Alright ) which I feel is her best vocal album.
  8. TMA would be a great pop song and 2B Loved would be great for urban. Dammn Baby is my current jam though. Still patiently waiting for that video.
  9. I know. Such a simple way of getting people talking about Unbreakable again and it is still not released!!
  10. She may only have success on Urban or Rhythmic radio but it's a song that could easily catch on, even if on those formats.
  11. Still no word even on radio release date? This is another one of Janet's songs that I don't want to slip through the cracks
  12. Not only Control, but Rhythm Nation 1814 and especially The Velvet Rope deserved album of the year nominations. I also think janet. did as well, but I know that was just too much for older voters.
  13. At the very least, I hope she releases songs/videos to help sustain the project. It gets tiring seeing Janet have CDs (except 20YO) that have strong singles on them, but the project just gets dropped. It didn't particularly happen with All For You and Damita Jo, where Janet wanted to release songs from both CDs (Trust a Try and Come on Get Up) from All For You and R&B Junkie and My Baby from Damita Jo. I just don't think Virgin wanted to release those. Unbreakable still has Dammn Baby, Broken Hearts Heal, Night, Take Me Away, and Gon Be Alright, all of which could have some type of release that could garner attention. If the Dammn Baby video is finished, Janet has nothing to lose by not releasing it.
  14. Yeah, Janet did apologize over and over again, and had to say the same thing over and over again on several shows. She got tired of apologizing for it because it seemed no one wanted to believe her. I think that's why she is enjoying being an independent artist-she can handle things the way she wants-even if some of us are frustrated by the process.
  15. Yeah. This song will do well on Urban and Rhythmic. Just a matter of when it will be released!!
  16. Love Janet's vocals on "What'll I Do," "Love Will Never Do Without You," "I Get Lonely," and "Gon Be Alright." When she wants to really prove herself, she really goes all out. Even after all of these years, I still hate that "What'll I Do" was never released as an official single in the US.
  17. Hope this is true. Been seeing it on social media all afternoon. Hopefully it's Dammn Baby. Song will be well-received on Urban and Rhythmic radio.
  18. 1. That's the Way Love Goes 2. No Sleeep 3. Escapade 4. What'll I Do? 5. Love Will Never Do Without You
  19. I think I have accepted no more videos. I just wish she would release a new single or at least a new lyric video to at least keep people interested.
  20. Hopefully, during this time, Janet and her team are looking at the entire process and are making plans to do things differently. Things have to change, and they have time to do it before the next tour date.
  21. I understand Janet doesn't want to be a part of the media that was so hurtful to her in the past. However, she can just do minimal promo with regards to making small appearances, and at the very least releasing singles at a decent time to radio. I play Unbreakable a lot around my younger nieces and nephews and you wouldn't believe how much they are into "Dammn Baby," and say it would be a great single.
  22. I think this sums things up for me in a nutshell. I expected a lot more from Janet, especially with Jimmy behind her for the most part, in terms of promotion for this project. Promo maybe something that Janet doesn't want to do, but it is necessary to get the word and project off the ground. Promotion could have been in the realm of releasing singles at the right time, not to mention low budget videos and a couple of appearances on radio/awards shows-just minimal promotion. Even here in the states, there seems to have been a missed opportunity with the release of BURNITUP as a legitimate single, and the lack of a current single that should have been released by now. I think that with someone who has been in the business of consistently putting out albums/singles in the past, this should be common knowledge. I don't want to see Janet trying to compete with younger artists, just release material so that people know that she is still the Janet Jackson we all know she can be from an artist's perspective.
