Some of you are doing way too much with the Muslim thing. She's clearly not devout or strict if she were one. Do you see her wearing hijabs? Did she stop a show then face East for prayer? Does she reject her gay friends/fans? Why would you think she'd rule out IVF? She's damn near 50 and if she's bearing that child, she likely went that route.

I don't really buy into the 1 Name icon thing... that's usually when you have a unique name as a public figure (Cher, Madonna, Oprah, etc). Her brother is the biggest pop star ever yet still goes by 2 names, or initials. The "Jackson" name brand is legendary in the biz so I doubt she'll ever get 1st name status. Not like it matters, though... -
Yeah, I wouldn't rush to judgement based off 1 call -- if we get more calls/explanations saying the same, I'd be very upset.

Regardless, in December she was getting surgery & asked for prayers. I'm pretty sure it may have just been IVF. She's pregnant.

This is just wishful thinking, but now that the cat's out of the bag, I hope she'll be less secretive going forward. One can dream, right?

Happy for her. However, I wish she was more straightforward from the beginning of her intentions -- Like someone said, you just don't start "planning a family" in the middle of a world tour. Especially after many years of hiatus. Again, I'm glad she's going to be a mother. That's one lucky child.

Obviously TVR... My favorite song on Unbreakable right now is Lessons Learned. Gorgeous ballad, lyrically great unlike some others on UB.

The lack of fan engagement this era has me dumbfounded. We were spoiled last summer with bi-weekly news/announcements/activity from Janet & her team. Now, not so much... Why, I wonder? Something happened between then -- or is this their "strategy", if there still is one? So many questions...
