I agree with you. I would love if she did full songs instead of just medleys. I feel like most of the fans that will go to this tour, have seen her before. So it shouldn't be a problem to have a different setlist.
I hated this performance tbh. Janet deserved to headline the show by herself. Not just Justin, but everyone there should not have been there. Kid rock sounded terrible. Jessica Simpson was totally unnecessary. Nelly and Diddy came and went, etc.
Would you guys be interested in Janet doing a rock-oriented album. If so, who would you want to produce the album? I think Black Cat shows an untapped potential for this genre. Her aesthetic can be very alternative at times, which would naturally fit a rock record. What do you guys think???
Exactly. A control tour with the previous albums wouldn't have been a good idea. Janet herself said she wanted to wait until she had more material. This was a smart business move on her part, as it added to the demand to see her live.
I'm not sure why, but I haven't been feeling the album really. It felt like a chore listening to this, whereas Confessions for example flew by. I still haven't listened to it all the way through, and i've tried to twice now. IDK.
