Alicia's album stands the test of time

Beyonce's album is great, but very dated

THAT is very true honestly, I think I'll just go with Alicia, because honestly, You Don't Know Ma Name ALONE, lawd. But it is my fave Bey song, and I could almost honestly flip it and say Crazy In Love & Be With You ALONE...but also I'll give it to Alicia because I've always felt Diary has less filler than DIL, and I forgot about that feeling.

I'll post my rankings then&now later or tomorrow

Love Monica's but its between Tasty, WW Underground and Frank.

I think im going with WW Underground just because none of the other albums has a song like I Want You. Without that song, Frank, Tasty and WW would be tied for me and it would be impossible to pick one

Tasty is so underrated in NA,

flawless

*As posted earlier, I really go through it over Diary & Dangerously, ultimately Diary aged better and has less filler, As most here know Dangerously is very much my favorite Bey album, but what's ironic is it has more filler than Bday (my 2nd fave) but it's about how much I love the songs I love in Dangerous that makes the difference, vs. with B'day the videos made me like most of the songs I like

*After The Storm & The Chocolate Factory are my favorite 2000's album by both artists. Neither has topped those eras & albums to me (yet, hopefully). After The storm is my 2nd overall fave Monica album

*I love worldwide underground, but it's probably my least fave Erykah album, tho it has some great music/singles on it still

* Love & Life in my opinion is Mary's most underrated album, it has less filler to me than The Breakthrough.

* I love & Loved Tasty but I feel like Kelis has done better, but for what it is I love it

* All I knew about Robin Thicke in 2003 was When I Get You Alone, and I LOVED IT, and I loved his hippie druggie look, but now that I'm more aquainted with his music and his artistry and voice, it's my least favorite album, but When I Get You Alone remains 1 of my favorite songs of his.

* I wasnt at all familiar with both Amy Winehouse or Joss Stone in 03, and today both albums don't really compare to what followed to me.

Tbh I never enjoyed Bey's album fully. It started of great but then dipped a lot for me.

I played Diary and Monica the most that year. It's hard to choose between them but Diary was similar to DIL in that it started off great and then slowly became a little boring. Monica's always kept me listening so I will pick that.

This is so hard. I'm going to have to pick Alicia followed by Monica and then Beyonce. I appreciated the others, years later.
