I mostly love classic names especially if they have a literary/historical background.

BOY: Maximus Nikolaos (Last)

GIRL: Arabella Elaine (Last)

TWIN BOYS: Charles Alexander (Last) and Anthony Dantès (Last)

TWIN GIRLS: Charlotte Jane (Last) and Emily Catherine (Last)

TWIN MIXED GENDERED: Atticus Holden (Last) and Aurora Phoebe (Last)

DOG* (m): Achilles

DOG* (f): Athena

CAT* (m): Perseus

CAT* (f): Luna

Edit:

Just because I wanted to give a little background on why I picked these for the kids. I've thought about it a lot and I really like this thread. :asham:

Boy: I love the sound and meanings of the old Greek/Roman names like "Maximus" and "Nikolaos". They convey such strength. "Maximus" meaning "the greatest", and "Nikolaos" meaning "victory for the people". Regardless of what my son does, maybe a name bearing this much honor will inspire him. I can only hope. Nickname: "Max" or "Niki"

Girl: "Arabella" has both the romantic and graceful sound that I love. As well as a literary background with the character coming to mind now being in Harry Potter. It also means "lovable" which I thought was adorable. "Elaine", like Jarryl and I discussed, is just classic. It bears a long history to a lot of amazing women. Elegant, sophisticated and timeless. Nickname: "Belle" or "Ellie"

Twin Boys: "Charles" and "Anthony" are also classic names I've loved a long time. They both have a long history with bearers even being kings. "Alexander", of course, for Alexander the Great. Also, because of my middle name "Alexandra". "Dantès" is a literary name from my favorite book The Count of Monte Cristo. It's the last name of the main character. Nicknames: "Charlie" and "Tony"

Twin Girls: Literary names through and through for these girls. "Charlotte" and "Emily" for two of the Brontë sisters who are two of my favorite ever writers. As a bonus, I can get two birds with one stone choosing "Emily" after my favorite female poet Emily Dickinson. "Jane" and "Catherine" for two of their main characters. "Jane" from Jane Eyre and "Catherine" from Wuthering Heights. All of the names are still classic in their own right also with long legacies. Nicknames: "Lottie" and "Emmy"

TWIN MIXED GENDERED: Another literary set of names that also have my classic fix. "Atticus" named after the father/lawyer from To Kill a Mockingbird, "Aurora", while being a Disney name I love, is also from a poem with the name in the title by my second female favorite poet Elizabeth Browning. "Holden" and "Phoebe" are siblings from The Catcher in the Rye. Nicknames: "Kit" and "Ari"/"Aura"

I've given this alot of thought and am constantly changing my mind on it.

BOY: Jarryl Toriano Jr (easy, I don't have a middle name but if I paid for 1 it'd be that 1)

GIRL: Lilian Josephine

TWIN BOYS: Kevin& Kyle

TWIN GIRLS: Dana & Donna (nicknamed "Day" & Dawn)

TWIN MIXED GENDERED: Thomas & Tami

DOG* (m): Dr. ScratchandSniff

DOG* (f): Mrs. Butterworks

CAT* (m): Sir Ronald McDonald

CAT* (f): Mrs. Beasley

* - I'm sorry but I LOVE LOVE LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the idea of pet names having a title with them, that is the most funniest and adorable thing EVER (Mr. Biglesworth from the Austin Powers franchise is the inspiration of that)

 Elaine (Last)

OMG YOU ARE SO MY PEOPLE LOL, Im the same way like I LOVE dignified & family names. I mean Im all creative & artsy too when I want but I'm SO not here for the names lol

THAT'S WHY WE TWINS, Elaine is VERY seriously an option for me, it's the name of my grandmothers youngest sister who died when I was 1 all of the sudden, and apparantly she was this REALLY sweet woman, and her death really shook the family, and my mom gave my younger sister (who my mom had a month after she died) the middle name Elaine, and I always wished I met her because of the family stories, and have always loved that name and found a warmth in it and in the women with that name.

LOL  I agree. When I think of naming a child, I'm thinking of a name that will sound sophisticated and age-appropriate no matter how old they are be they 5 or 50. I also want it to be something that's relatively easy to pronounce and spell. It really is a trip some of the names people come up with these days.

Awww, that's so lovely. The legacy of it, I should say. :asham: It is definitely a gorgeous and elegant name. It's easy to see why it's passed through so many generations.

As corny as it sounds i've always thought about it even as a teen that if I ever had a girl her name would be Janet. Janet Johnson lol. As for a boy probably named after me. If I had 2 boys the other would have a universal name. Not one that sounds black and not one that sounds white. Maybe a Nick or Jason. Something like that idk
