Bailey Posted November 19, 2014 Share Posted November 19, 2014 Ok so at work one of the ladies started a secret Santa deal, which basically is everyone write down three gifts at or under 25 bucks and we pull names, no one is to tell who they get. We pulled yesterday, and not everyone is participating, which is their choice. My question is what happens when you pull a name you don't get along with at work ? ...the caveat to this is NO ONE can put a name back. I just want to hear you guys and gals thoughts because the name I pulled Part of me wants to take the high road and just be like I did it, but if someone doesn't represent for me on my list, which was all cheap ass Walmart shit I could care less about than we have a problem some of us hate each other Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Nothing that looks like I put a ton of thought into it, but no shade either. It is Christmas and it's not like this'll put a dent in my wallet. Might as well be nice for one day of the year. I really like this post, because it's balanced and well thought out.....when we talk work and people we work with, sometimes its not as simple as "oh I don't like her/him" sometimes shit can be so far as to people come at your employment altogether.....BUT I will take the high road, Im going to get a gift card and the required personal card to be an example of better. Bailey Posted December 17, 2014 Author Share Posted December 17, 2014 I can report, that the Christmas gift exchange and dinner was actually nice, no fights, no shade throwing, shit was cool I took the time to thank the women that went to the trouble of organizing a fun moment during our workday.
