Escapade
If it passes I'm definitely gonna take advantage. I've always wanted to be a life long student.
Reyna ♔
Politicians: Like Escapade said, it's because Obama's for it. One party always has to oppose the other side no matter what stance is taken. Even if it benefits any and everyone. Public: They're being bullshitted by those politicians. Many rumours flying around about the price tag being astronomical, which is actually minimal and pays for itself, among other baseless ideas. People will complain until they start seeing the results and likely getting into the program themselves. Similar to Obamacare. I do have to say, for a moment, I felt a little proud that it was my state of Tennessee that had this idea first that Obama is now taking to the national stage. Maybe there's hope for this little redneck state.
Bailey
I heard a few arguments on Sports radio talk, basically folks are still salty that Obama is President Obama, and anything he does they got something to say 1. Where is the money coming from? If he proposes raising taxes at all, even on the wealthy, thats an issue for some 2. Some argue community college isnt that beneficial but trade school would be. Don't they offer some of the trade school courses at community colleges??? I think there are a lot of jealous people.. "I had to pay for college, why do they get it for free?"

Sounds like bullshit. the second point is an extension of blue collar labor. College, especially a liberal arts education, isn't for everyone. Some people in certain regions of the nation, such as the rust belt, can still find employment in high skilled areas that require a high degree of technical hands on education. Something woefully missing from most traditional colleges.
