TwistedElegance™
Kid Rock is an interesting human being. A reporter for Rolling Stone recently spent a day with the musician and wrote about the experience. The day started off with Rock and his girlfriend, Audrey, killing three wild boar on his 500-acre Alabama estate and ended at 4:30 in the morning with the singer shedding a tear for U.S. soldiers. In between, Rock showed off his gun collection (which includes a .22 rifle, a pair of custom .45 pistols and semiautomatic with a silencer). The singer says of the last weapon, “Guys with the president carry this. You have to get these pre-1985 with a silencer. I bought it when ‘Obummer’ came into office, because I’m thinking, ‘What if he f—in’ bans guns?’He also talked about how becoming a single dad motivated his shift from purely hip-hop music to a hybrid rock genre in the ’90s. Rock told the outlet about being a dad at 22 and raising his son while trying to make it in music, “He was pretty much dropped off at my door at six months old: ‘You raise this f—ing kid.’ I was like, ‘This has gotta work.’ So what’s popular? Korn. I knew I can do that s–t in my sleep. But let me throw in “Only God Knows Why” and “Cowboy” so I can have a career.”Rock goes on to talk about being a massive rock star and a dad, “I’d be driving the field trip Monday after I banged, like, four hookers,” he stated. “Well, not hookers, but, you know, four nice girls on Saturday night in Cincinnati. It becomes clear during the article that Rock is not shy about expressing his opinion. Here are some of the highlights:On Axl Rose: “I was like, ‘Why’s everyone think this guy’s a dick? He’s the nicest guy on Earth!’ ”On his fans: “I’m the Jimmy Buffett with hair who swears.” Stating he knows his fans are “45 to 50-year-old girls wearing extra-large T-shirts — they’re my bread and butter. They know how to f**king party — [They're like:] ‘I don’t give a f—, I’m making a T-shirt and putting sequins on it. I’m saving my money for beer and having a good time.’”On Beyoncé: “Beyoncé, to me, doesn’t have a f—ing “Purple Rain,” but she’s the biggest thing on Earth. How can you be that big without at least one “Sweet Home Alabama” or “Old Time Rock and Roll”? People are like, ‘Beyoncé’s hot. Got a nice f—ing ass.’ I’m like, ‘Cool, I like skinny white chicks with big t-ts.’ Doesn’t really f—ing do much for me.”The Rolling Stone article is an interesting read, whether you agree with his opinions or not, and you can check out the full piece here. Kid Rock just released his latest album, First Kiss, a disc that readers voted Loudwire’s release of the month. He’s also announced another $20 Best Night Ever summer tour. It kicks off June 24 in Hartford, Conn. and sees him playing throughout the summer, ending on Sept. 5 in Auburn, Wash. See the full list of dates here.Read More: Kid Rock Rips Korn, Beyonce + Obama, Praises Guns, Axl + Troops | Loudwire | http://loudwire.com/kid-rock-insults-korn-beyonce-obama-praising-guns-axl-rose-u-s-troops/?trackback=tsmclipObviously she has iconic hits, so I wonder if he's expecting a bit too much of her by sounding off rock classics from 40 years ago. jarrylf
Ehh In 40 years, will we be listening to Beyonce? Who knows.. But we sure won't be listening to Kid Rock LOFL basically. Eh, I get what he means that her hype is more about her image/brand than her music (it is), but it's tacky to not at least get it right with comparisons, every song he listed is a rock song, that's not even her field. It's like saying Britney has no "what's Going On" or "Respect".

Tho you coulda picked a Janet Jackson song No I get Lonely or That's The Way Love Goes, I was making a point of more R&B artists and Janet's more pop/R&B than Marvin & Aretha, she's more than Brit but to make a point... Tbh he comes off like a redneck anyway so his words don't hold much weight. "They took err jobs!"

Rock & Roll Hall of Game
I was waiting for someone to go all "Race card". I'm shocked it wasn't someone else Kid Rock gave $100,000 to Detroit based charities.. He doesn't hate Beyonce Bc she's black. Y'all pull that card faster and faster nowadays. It's kinda petty to call a white person racist Bc they don't like the music of ONE overrrated black artist

LOL he always does, and with all the Obama hate and republican stanning he does this "she don't got no hits in ma genre" don't help lol. And that's a good point about Michael, I mean he and Janet both have rock #1s but both songs aren't their signature songs by far.
Aquaria
There's this thing where... As a musician... You earn your spot to talk shit. Kid Rock had one hit... 15 years ago? Beyonce has actually sustained a career in that time period, becoming bigger than she ever has been, on the incline, with 20 fucking Grammys to show for it. Kid Rock can sit his inbred ass down in his trailer and stick to what he knows, like cooking beans and sister fucking.

Bailey
It's irrelevant and shouldn't be the only reason to respect President Obama but I digress No its quite relevant, the idea that the President of the free world is not only accomplished, but a man of color is to be applauded . There are many reasons I dont take lightly to disparaging commentary towards the President, the fact he's a man of color that has done what no man of color did before him matters
Bailey
Back to the topic at hand.....I sometimes wonder if an artist having one huge signature song kinda kills creativity... having an entire catalog millions enjoy sounds more appealing to me
