The pair are officially heading up their own respective BET shows. Rowland revealed the news yesterday on Twitter that she would be heading up a new reality singing TV competition, Chasing Destiny, set to air on BET. “Excited to launch my new show with @BET – ‘Chasing Destiny,'” she tweeted. According to BET, “as a founding member of Destiny’s Child, Kelly Rowland knows what it takes to win. The talented vocalist has joined forces with BET to launch Chasing Destiny, a multiplatform search for the next blazing hot singing sensation that will bring together young women with all that’s required to meet Kelly Rowland’s standards for excellence.” Brandy, who currently appears on BET’s The Game, is also set to star in a new BET original scripted series, Zoe Moon. The romantic comedy will center around Brandy’s character, Zoe Moon, a newly divorced single mom embarking on her new life and career as a fledgling cosmetics mogul.
