janetDAYZ
BET To Reboot Ashton Kutcher's 'Punk'd' Series There's plenty of changes coming to BET this year including their version of the beloved pranking series, "Punk'd." According to Rolling Stone, the show was announced in BET's list of new programs for Fall 2015. The series will be reportedly "tailored" for the network's audience and plans to show how the pranks are played out. "Black consumers experience BET Networks differently than any other network because of our 35 years of history, tremendous experience and insights. We continue to give our viewers what they want — high-quality content that respects, reflects and elevates them," said BET' Networks CEO Debra Lee. "With more hours of original programming than ever before, our new shows coupled with our returning hits like 'Being Mary Jane' and 'Nellyville' make our original slate stronger than ever." It's the second time the series has been given the reboot treatment. After running for four years under prank king and actor Ashton Kutcher, the series returned briefly in 2012 with revolving hosts like Justin Bieber who pranked Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift. Some of the series' memorable 'Punk'd' moments included Kanye West, Beyonce and Justin Timberlake. In addition to the series reboot, the network is also launching a singing competition produced by Kelly Rowland, a docu-series hosted by Ludacris that will cover famous record labels, and more seasons of "Being Mary Jane" and Nelly's "Nellyville."
