They had a bitter business "breakup" and theyre on good terms now. BET has had better ratings the last 2 years and people from all ages and walks of life were watching Sunday so I doubt it would make more noise. Black =BET ..Everyone = MTV Not really.  Over the past few year BET has = everyone and MTV has = teeny boppers.  You are underestimating the impact of urban artist just like the grammys do which is why their ratings have sucked.  You don't get ratings like the BET awards has with only black viewers watching.  And MTV has never seen a more diverse group of viewers than what the BET awards got last week.  Truth be told a lot of black folks don't watch the MTV awards.  This is 2015 black culture = everyone    But on topic no sleep is at #107 iTunes and #29 iTunes pop.  Time for some promo Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

MTV has always been SUPERIOR to BET which would make sense since BET is targeted towards a specific group of minorities. MTV is universal.
