I personally think the song should have been a pop hit (in addition to it being a #1 club dance single). It was a major return to form, and that classic Janet dance track after Damita Jo and 20 Y.O. saw her dabbling in more urban based uptempos.Then the video was perfect too, it was her first dance video since 2001 that didn't involve her dancing in a dark environment. Now NOTHING... was trash. I've played it over 150 times, but only because it was a new Janet song. That song is hands down one of her worst ballads, if not the fucking worst. It's not a bad song it's just one of the ones she made is how I felt. I actually think the choreo was pretty decent. There hadn't been too many vids with choreo I disliked, but I liked seeing something diff in Make Me with the jump. Kinda have a love/hate relationship with him.
