One thing I noticed is this has more fully-sung songs compared to his previous albums. Before, each album would feature just one song without any rap ("Find Your Love," "Doing It Wrong," "Hold On We're Going Home") Just thought that was interesting lol

Doesn't matter. Drake is fucking beautiful too. Eminem is still a legend and one of the greatest rappers alive #WhoMad

#This, Drakes on his way to that status in time, but Em's a Legend/Icon/Great regardless.

Drake's "One Dance" breaks the U.K.'s record for most track streams in a single week, previously set by Adele's "Hello."

Released at the beginning of last month,Drake's "One Dance" has reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in its third week on the chart. The single has been even more dominant across the pond, as it has been reported that "One Dance" will spend its third consecutive week atop the U.K. singles chart. In fact, "One Dance" was streamed 7.86 million times in the U.K. last week, which is the highest number of track streams to ever be recorded in a single week, beating the previous record of 7.32 million streams, set by Adele's "Hello" in its first week of release last October.

It's impressive that Drake was able to break Adele's record in her home country, though it's not surprising that "One Dance" was particularly loved by the Brits, as the track borrows many elements of a classic track associated with the genre U.K. funky, the Crazy Cousinz remix of Kyla's "Do You Mind?", released in 2008. Kyla is listed as a feature on the track, as is young Nigerian artist Wizkid, who provided backing vocals. Wizkid had achieved success in the U.K. before a collaboration with Drake and Skepta last summer earned him stateside recognition.

"One Dance" looks to be the hottest Views track at the moment, though the album's next smash hit will likely reveal itself in no time. Drake released "One Dance" as his second single of the year, though it's technically the lead Views single as "Summer Sixteen" was left off of the album.

Doesn't everyone :asham:

Drake is hitting every mark

Well nah, Drake doesnt get 10s across the board from everybody. He's never been the desirable "sex symbol"  ... his beard has helped his stock go up quite a bit tho . Facial hair always makes men look 10000000x better.

According to Chart Junkie's Twitter, Drake is predicted to sell1.2 million albums in his first week (double that of Nothing Was the Same)

If this is true and it doesn't increase, Drake is set to surpass 50 Cent's 'Massacre' from 2005 (1.141 million) and enter the Top Ten fastest selling albums at #9

Earlier someone compared him to Eminem who sold 1.7 million and is #4 on the list.

Adele is the queen and still holds her top spot with 3.4 million albums sold and spun.

The numbers are in for how Drake'sVIEWS performed in its first week of sales, and they are staggering. Only a month after Kanye West's The Life of Pablo became the first record to ever top Billboard's 100 on the merit of streaming, VIEWS is primed to claim the top spot, having registered 250 million streams in six days, Republic Records revealed on Thursday (May 5). TLOP hadn't streamed 250 million times until 10 days after its release, giving Drake that distinction in nearly half the time. The U.S. was responsible for most of the play, accounting for 200 million of the streams tallied.

At a launch party for the record, last week, the 6 God claimed that the album had already sold 600,000 copies on the day of its release. Republic Records confirms that in the five days since,VIEWS has sold over 400,000 more copies, bringing the six day total (including streaming album equivalents) to 1.2 million, with a million of those being U.S. sales. Physical copies of the rapper's fourth studio project are set for release across retailers on Friday, May 6. On May 13, Apple Music loses exclusivity, at which point the album will become accessible via all streaming platforms.

Despite lukewarm reviews, the channels of distribution expanding here-forth can only signify even greater numbers in the coming weeks. Later this month Drizzy is scheduled to appear on Saturday Night Live, and an arena tour with Future awaits the Toronto rapper this summer. Until then there will be plenty of Drake time court side at the NBA Playoffs on TNT, and plenty more Drake from speakers at the red light and the supermarket.

Much as I LOVEEEEE Drake .. this album is not popping out at me the way I was expecting. Maybe i built up so much expectation. Its not blowing me away so far. Maybe just two songs are kind of appealing on first listen, but the overall album? I hope its a grower.
