Honestly, within 10 years...

In 10 years we gonna be older.  Some of ya'll will age badly and bitterly , others will age gracefully thanks to modern science. Janet's fanbase will diminish even more as it normally does when an artist ages.  She will have her loyals.  Her impact and her mark in history has been made and aint going nowhere.  If she tours around then, honestly I see her doing casino/resort type venues.  And trust, imma be there with some of ya'll getting mah life and still doing the if routine while possibly fracturing a hip like

This! Janet has lost tons of fans due to her own fault. Plenty were still with her after the superbowl but after that it was all on her. Sad but I've come to terms with it. I will still stan for her til the day I die.

And when you all stop being in denial, JoeJoe has provided the best answer.

:lmao:

i know what you're saying and I agree ALTHOUGH Britney can't hit her moves and... ok. Bad example

I would like for her to at least release albums at random intervals, but I feel like that probably won't happen. Unbreakable seemed like it was supposed to be a farewell album and era even though that was never said outright. I honestly think that once she has this baby, she'll dedicate  almost her whole life to him/her and I can't blame her if she does.
Her career has been extremely rocky since the Superbowl, and if she wasn't that concerned over repairing things then (releasing sub-par albums, not touring, etc.), I really don't think she'd be concerned at all over her career/legacy 10 years from now.

Still, her legacy will remain in the industry. And 10+ years from now, I know I'll still be a fan.

No.. unbreakable is not a farewell album and there's no credible sources to back up that claim

Janet isn't some stay-at-home bum.. There are millions of women who does it all with children. To assume Janet is going to up & quit bc she has a child isn't just insulting to Janet but to all women

My problem with you (and the other defectors) is this: If you want to leave the pasture, fine. Your disappointment and concerns are valid. But coming back only to throw salt is as immature as the fans you accuse of being.

I can go with this. However, how is that insulting? Women will most definitely give up their careers for their children. It's not like we're saying she isn't capable. She's just private and might want to dedicate her life to her child. Who knows, this might even inspire her to have and raise more kids.

All of my posts are on topic and about Janet. So I really don't care. :)

Janet is the main reason for the dissension within the Janet fan community. You have two sides of the coin: on one side you have the fans who doesn't hold her accountable for any of her faults and loves everything she does, then you have the small minority of fans who will be honest and offer constructive criticism of Janet. The differing perspectives leads to clashing, which leads to dissension and that in turn, leads to this fan base looking dysfunctional. The root to all of this, however, is Janet and her seemingly poor handling of her career within the last 15 years. And most of the fans who call honest fans "fake" are disappointed themselves in Janet, but won't admit it due to their loyalty to her.

It's insulting to assume Janet, one of the strongest black celebrities who has juggled a 30+ year career, to just become a lazy housewife (not calling house wives lazy but any rich one is bc of their maids)

She's always been private and just bc she's private doesn't mean she's going to quit the thing she loves doing
