Rock & Roll Hall of Game
After flopping in 2016 again, Gaga is going to give it another shot. Forbes reports: The biggest brands and advertisers still agree that the Super Bowl is the most prestigious marketing platform available today. Drawing in over 200 million eyeballs, the highly anticipated event offers an incredible opportunity for exposure. Amongst the swarm of content and festivities, the halftime show performance is unique, and stands out from the crowds of companies willing to pay north of $5 million for just 30 seconds in the spotlight. While this may seem shocking, it’s actually a very logical marketing move – what she’ll forgo in direct payment, she’ll make up for with valuable exposure. With Lady Gaga’s new album slated for early October ‘17, over 100 million viewers won’t hurt her sales. She’ll likely have a tour to follow, which means big money for her - the Monster Ball Tour in 2011 grossed $239 million.

JJATL
The thing about Gaga is that she's loaded with talent, is incredibly smart and is (and has) a powerful voice in the entertainment industry. However, she consistently makes poor creative choices and an often shows a lack of ability to properly edit her work and make good production decisions. Listening to Joanne against Unbreakable, for example, there is a stark difference in the quality of the lyrics and overall production in these projects. Unbreakable is a multi-layered, well thought out, very well edited and pristinely produced piece of work. Much of Gaga's album is just flat by comparison and unmoving. She often features only her lead vocal, and no harmonies and she too often randomly belts where it's really not suiting the song well. Overall it just seems empty and phoned in. And I really hate that because I'm a total little monster and had high hopes that her teaming up with Ronson would be magical. It wasn't. Rock & Roll Hall of Game
Did you really just compare A legend's independent work with the legendary producing team to Lady Gaga's flop ass country album? Try comparing it to one of Gaga's peers like Rihanna, Beyoncé although she's not on their level either Edited January 24, 2017 by Game XXIX

JJATL
Seriously. Dramatic much? LOL Id venture to say that Gaga has a "x factor" that not even her current peers have. She's not a classic stunning beauty, tends to be a little awkward, but she damn well connected like no one has in a very long time, and has very much stayed an A-lister in demand even without a massive hit. I think she's just a well-rounded talent born to entertain in multiple ways. I actually predict a path for her more like Cher or Streisand. She may not put out the most ground breaking albums as of late but she's more versatile than pretty much anyone else out there. She will always be on the scene. 3
