Queen Minaj vs. Remy Nah

Listen... let it go. Nicki is a rapper. Her music is placed into iTunes under what... I'll wait

You keep saying she had a ghostwriter but then source someone who claims they didn't write for her (then deleting the tweet and going on jealous tangents about how he wrote all her songs). Quite Donald Trumping this ghostwriter thing. There's more evidence than Obama tapped Trump than there is that Sarfaree wrote Nicki's music

But That's the whole point... MJ probably didn't touch little boys and Nicki probably doesn't have a ghostwriter. Both have sketchy circumstances surrounding them but neither are fact.

Bubble gum pop star? You're reaching. None of them could. Maybe Missy but that's if she tried... oh wait.. :coffee:

Shes a rapper who mostly does pop. Thats a fact. Clearly that doesn't make her hip hop, mixtape Nicki was, but signed Nicki is a pop princess scared to deal with real hip hop artists, but watch her show out if 1 of her peers in pop say somethin. She is to Hip Hop what Taylor Swift is to country:coffee:

:lmao: nobody's being Donald but the Barbz. Give up this notion that shes not above being called out for ghostwriting like shes done to others with much less evidence to go on than there is on her. And that Obama examples a fail cause there's zero evidence of that, yet is there zero evidence of Safaree in her writers credit? As long as there is...theres evidence to go off of. Sorry Kelly ann, cant spin this, and as long as hes in her credits its unsure how much or how little he specifically contributed so if folks want to believe its everything, its a possibility or that its little, its a possibility. What's a fact is he was involved, which means its a possibility.

Yup you go off the evidence of the information provided, Nickis career was hottest with Safaree in her life without him.....running away from hip hop. The MJ evidence shows every case was about money.

No reaches needed,  when I think of bouble gum I think  Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Bieber, 16 year old girls, shit taste, superbasic & starshit. Can't think of a female rapper that tried. Missys been consistently hip hop & R&B with dabbling, but nothing exclusively pop like superbasic

Hell the biggest proof shes not a real hip hop artist is how her stans are so clueless about the genre and its history, as seen in this thread, stop fighting the facts, letcho pop girl be great at what she wants to be, a pop girl! :lmao:

That's not factual. Her singles maybe chart toppers and platinum winning hip-pop songs but her albums are not. Again, iTunes put her in which genre?

There is zero evidence that that man wrote 100% (as he said) of her lyrics. Just like there is zero evidence that Obama phone tapped the United Idiots' presidential candidate

Nicki is still on top of her game. Watch.. her grab a platinum single soon

:lmao: when Nicki's haters mad bc their fav female floppp--err--rappers can't do what she does

Mostly pop and mostly with pop artist  PLUS "topper" implies #1 and....HAAAA :lmao:

Yea not 100% but youre alright with it being even remotely 50%+? Ghostwriting dont always means 100% (ala the way authors reference them), point blank and period even with or without his testimony his name in credits is up for interpretation. :) Back on subject, how that would get handled by real rappers, like for example Meek acused Drake of heavy use of ghost writers, then Drake distroyed him in a response. Thats what settles that in rap. In pop its all up for interpretation.

Features dont count, and the last era was saved by a boubly pop hip hop song led by a sample.... ala people only care about her when shes pop. :coffee:

 What real fan of hip hop would want a legitimate female hip hop artist to do shit as whack as her for the purpose of pop success and not furthering hip hop. Thats like saying country fans of real country artist are jealous of Taylor for her pop success. :lmao:  Im tellin you Nicki screwed up yall understanding of hip hop like Betsy will screw up kids understanding of education. THAT I find hilarious :lmao:  I like authenticity. Drake and Missy and Kanye are dabblers of genre's, but all proved theyre hip hop 1st and will prove it only like authentic rappers would....not by running scared and calling and threatning your friends like a pop bitch. :coffee:

As if she doesn't have rhymes and hits with other rappers including Eminem on her first album.

No.. he contradicted himself. Similar to Sessions did in front of Congress. But I guess Safaree doesn't remember either

She's an international rapping sensation and that's just something you're going to have to swallow.. if you need help, ask Roc :coffee:

Much like Drake, Nicki Minaj's legacy is that she evolved hip hop. The problem with Hip Hop community: they enjoy living in the past. "'member, Tupac... 'member Biggie". Welcome to the future. Where our male Rappers aren't afraid to show affection, emotions and our female rappers can be successfully internationally

Nicki has to please her international fan base too. Unlike the lessors, being an international sensation means you have to be able to connect to every ear. Her rebuttal would mean nothing in europe, Asia. Only selfish Americans who worry more about Hip Hop credibility than the Art itself

Who said she didnt? Doesnt change the fact that pop is her priority.

He did, but his names in the credits and been called out about it before he said anything about it. Shes a intenational pop star who got bodied by a actual rapper. Im use to shitty pop acts I dont like succeeding in pop, nothing new about  that, it's more evident her stans aren't use to alot of things like hip hop, or her not being able to compete, talent. Etc.

No, Drake evolved hip hop, he did what Jay-Z, Missy, Latifah,  Lil Kim, Kanye, Nas & many other hip hop legends did, which is bring his brand of hip hop to other genres, his hip hop success outshined his pop success until recent years, but then came the beefs to prove he is still a geuine & talented rapper. And boy bye with that diagnosis :lmao: You diagnosing the hip hop community is like Betsy speaking on school issues, Carson speaking on Slavery or Kellyanne speaking honestly :lmao: . Cause sensitive rappers been around since LL pioneered that shit, Nas, Jay, Common & Pac all did sensitive shit :LOFL: Who lied to you and said thats a "today" thing,a pop artist or a pop fan? The problem with pop fans that like basic pop hip hop is they think they understand what the real fans of Hip Hop are about but they dont have a clue,  its like hipsters to a fad, they want to strip it of its roots and make it this mix so its more pop friendly and universal. As much as thats needed, trying to so that to a entire genre or like most of hipsters do rob the integrity of something for the sake of pop appeal. Real hip hop is alive & thriving no thanks to Nicki but thanks to Kendrick Lamar, Chance The Rapper, Big Sean, & Childish Gambino. Artists that crossed over but are bringing hip hop over with them, and letting it influence the pop culture, instead of letting the pop culture influence them (in a way that'd make their image more pop than hip hop).

:lmao::lmao::lmao: is that a rebuttal for how she's not a pop act or that pop appeal isnt her priority? It certainly wasnt for Drake or Jay. You see thats what hipster pop fans who want everything commercial dont get, real hip hop fans are world wide, and theyre rooting for their real hip hop artists to make the artists neighborhoods proud, and stand up for their reputations that make them worth loving,  they dont depend on charts for that like pop fans. Lastly you contradicted yourself, silly boy, because reputation, battles & beef is fucking apart or the art of Hip Hop, and wanting any of those dropped or forgotten is the problem.

All this trying to drag Nicki over Remy Ma. This fact still remains. Nicki will still be here and Remy, well Remy is over. She better stay with Fat Joe like she's been doing if she wants any kind of success. She can't go pop cause she just doesn't have the talent for it and nobody has been buying her albums or singles since she's been on the scene. She's like a Trina but at least Trina has an album that sold and went Gold.

 Aint no "trying to" drag on this topic, just dragging. Remy.Shook & Bodied.Nicki. You keep trying to make this about pop success. She can flop for the rest of her career and Nicki can continue to hop on pop peers top 10s and Remy will still be known in the hiphop community as the 1 who bodied Nicki. Thats fine. Shes a wife and mother to teenagers and has shown no signs of wanting to be a bouble gum pop star being besties with Ariana Grande like Nicki does. This is how Nicki ruined yall, She got yall thinking EVERY rapper wants to be Bieber & Taylor. Her reputation is she won, thats what matters most to hip hop fans. Not sales. Oh yall pop folks :lmao: its like you dont even try to understand. But im a good teacher, so I have patience :coffee:

Remy will be known for nothing... in 10 years, we're still gonna be talking about Nicki being pop and not once talk about Remy :lmao: that's the joke behind it all

Hip Hop community can separate themselves from Nicki but at the end of the decade, she's still an A-lister and the best selling female rapper.. she's a headliner

Nicki wins either way ??‍♂️

But thats all hoping Nicki doesn't go that Ja Rule route shes looking at. :lmao:

Except people whos fave genre is hip hop will know and remember that Nicki was forced into retirement from hip hop by Remy. But yea among the bulk of her pop peers and pop fans shes a icon, and as long as shes popping on pop artists features she'll maintain.

She only wins in pop features. In hip hop right now, she takin that L. And Im all about the NOW

Nicki's legacy is still intact

Too bad the people whose favorite genre is hip hop don't purchase music :coffee: shame

Again, Nicki has an international fan base. She must appease all

I'm all about that lifetime and her legacy will be remembered

As a pop act

I find it more of shame that thats what pop fans and pop acts put such priority on. Hip-hop has always been for its people by its people, and again theres real hip hip fans all over the world checking out mixtape artist all over the states. Being genuine and connecting to their fans and follwers & communities is a priority. Being "fun for all ages" isnt a hip hop priority.

Drakes is bigger, but he takes the time to prove hip hop and his cred is a highe priority.

Yes, as 1 of the big name pop acts of the 2010s who had a few pop hits on her own but mostly worked as features for her pop friends, and only responds to beefs with other pop girls. :coffee:

FINALLY:rolleyes: It was removed but the consensus is she waited too long and it's suspect since she needed help from Drake & Wayne(both of whom repeatedly name dropped as rumored ghostwriters for Nicki), & that its interior to Shether & Another One.

I'll give it a listen, but I ofcourse doubt itd make me or anyone but a Barb/stan ignore all of the above.

However, thats nice of her to enter the ring.....with or without help....from runored ghostwriters. Its admirable that she even tried :)

I look forward to the analysis from The Breakfast Club tomorrow

Mixtapes... cute :coffee:

The hip hop community is notoriously sexist but of course Drake is better. I'm not comparing Drake and Nicki. I'm comparing Nicki to the flop female rappers

All these allegations of ghost writers makes my head spin as to why anyone who believe it. How Drake and Wayne going to be ghost writers for Nicki but they use ghost writers? Safaree is a flip flopped harder than Trump so he can't be trusted. Next

It's basically like Nicki got beat up at school, then stayed home for two weeks, and then when she came back to school she ended up bringing her two big brothers with her to kick the girl's ass...

nope.

She made it worse for herself.. she should've just stayed quiet..

:lmao: they aew dragging every where like DAMN. But she earned it, 2 weeks help and couldnt come solo AND needed features....from people that were called out for ghostwriting for her. All over social media, all over the breakfast club & the callers, they DRAGGGGGGIN, she betta live up to Ja Rules legacy!:lmao:

I called it, didt I call it? I said she loses regardless if she didnt reply it shows she's not & never have been genuine about hip hop, if she did it would be weak, basic & predictable & inferior.....and here we are.

Its nice she tried tho.....but like with most of her success too bad she needed help

Nah, just mostly pop

Music for the people, by the people is REAL, pop is cute, for that "global pop appeal":coffee:

Nah, Drake & Nicki compared makes more sense, since theres no other female rapper whos as softcore hip hop & hard core pink bouble gum pop to compare...well Fergie naybe...:lmao: Shes getting compared to someone whos a better more successful version of what she tried to be.

Welcome to rap beef, thats how it goes on the subject, accusations always fly & the truth is usually somewhere inbetween. However....its a really really bad look that Wayne & Drake are "alleged" ghostwriters for her & that she clings to both in desperation...... and then she responds with then.....bad look, file for evidence. Public is DRAGGING it.

I would like to say tho that her bars were so weak, it might be evident that Drake has nothing to do with her pen ^_^

Yeah its really bad.  You can tell she had to wait for both of them to find time to write her response but to put them on the song too was wack. She's posting her chart status like that is what wins rap battles.  The fact that she is from Queens New York makes it worse for her because they are not taking her seriously as a hip hop artist right now.  She will have to survive making pop music for her barbz.   They think its cute that Nicki is in Paris and doing all these photo shoots but they dont understand that's not what Remy is about anyway.  She is a real one not interested in rubbing elbows with the elite.
