That's assault, and assaulting a minor. If the parents press charges, she's going to jail.

Self-defense is only acceptable when a person has been assault physically. Verbal assault never precipitates physical assault.

i trust u looked at the legislation and the case law when writing that?

what about harassment?

what about provocation?

and why then did the police say she was "likely acting in self defence?"

I surely did. Verbal assault never precipitates physical assault. There are some exceptions to the rule, but they are rare.

I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I know that the law states (not verbatim or literally of course) you never have the right to put your hands on anybody.

Haha, I'm not in law school yet. Trackboy is in law school. :lol: But here in the states, any time you put your hands on someone, 9 times out of 10 you're in the wrong and the judge will NOT rule in your favor. :lol:
