Is she having trouble selling tickets? There doesn't appear to be any "sold out" shows yet.

The good sis on J|X Red posted the stats a while ago:

Oct 27 - 1920/2079 - 92%

Oct 29 - 1823/2079 - 88%

3rd show has now caught up with the 1st.

89% of all tickets in Melbourne sold.

Sydney

Nov 5 - 2679/2679 - 100% sold out

Nov 6 - 2677/2679 - 99.9% = 100% sold out

The second show is completely sold out now. And 115 tickets currently remain unsold for the final night.

They're all 85% and above, so that's definitely a good thing. She'll be back there next tour. I'm kinda hoping she'll do the same venues next tour, because you get a good seat for a decent price.

Praise Janhova.

JANET'S AUSSIE DEDICATIONS

Janet Jackson has this morning revealed which of her hits she'll be dedicating to which Australian cities as part of her upcoming 'Number Ones : Up Close And Personal' tour.

The tour will see the global superstar hit slightly more intimate venues to get 'up close and personal' with her dedicated fanbase and, as she's done in cities across the world, she'll be dedicating some of her biggest hits to each of the cities in which she'll perform.

For Sydney audiences, for example, she'll be dedicating the hit single 'Runaway' (the city featured briefly in the official video clip). In Melbourne, it's the saucy 'Janet' album hit 'You Want This'. Perth fans have the amazing 'If' dedicated to them, in Adelaide it's all about the sultry 'Anytime, Anyplace' and if you're on the Gold Coast, the 'Velvet Rope' hit 'Got 'Til It's Gone' is the track for you.

The local leg of Janet's tour kicks off at Perth's Burswood Theatre on Tuesday October 18.

  • 2 weeks later...

I was kinda hoping for Jessica Mauboy. And partly because she's a Janet stan. -_-

I also think Sneaky Sound System would've been a good fit.

Dainty always gets piss poor support acts. I don't have to remind you who the support act was for the HIStory tour. -_-

Sneaky Sound System would've been a treat.
