The hint about Europe can mean *anything*. A few shows here and there, maybe some big European summer festival(s). We will see. I know she's better than fine for the rest of her life doing these festivals, nostalgy tours etc. But still... a small part, just a tiny little inch in me, wishes she could deliver one more time and prove all the haters wrong with a badass album. Or even a "greatest hits" tour and sell out stadiums. Like Madonna did with Celebration. I know, I know....

I'm not sure if I believe that there will ever be another album. Black Diamond was a great title, the photos were great... At this point, she can tour with her old catalogue for the rest of her life. I was so disappointed when the Unbreakable tour was cancelled. That album was amazing. Anyhow, she will do what she will do. I will see her though if she ever comes to my city again. I will always love her and her old songs.

I can imagine. I'm glad you got to see her live!! I mean, Janet can make the crowd go crazy just by standing alone on stage, as we all know I love that her shows were always kind of simple and intimate, and I don't mean this in a bad way.

I loved these, so funny -
She's definitely killin' it. In fact, I don't know if I've ever seen her like this. The song choices, choreography, outfits, dancers.... She seems to really be happy doing it

Does anyone know the song in the beginning of the show when the pictures are shown? The beat before Damita Jo. Is it a remix of an old song? Or a new song. I've never heard it and love it.

For some reason I was watching on Youtube the royal wedding of the Swedish prince from 2015, lol. At the end the ceremony they played a song called "Joyful, joyful" with a sample from Janet's "What have you done for me lately". I thought that was kinda cool -
I love these

One month to go until the tour starts...! I'm excited even though I won't be seeing it live unless she tours Europe. I think this will be her last tour, I hope it will all go great and that people will celebrate her. Maybe she will also release some new music -

Do u guys think Beyonce's newly announced tour casts a shadow on Janet's TA tour? Don't get me wrong... It just feels like this was supposed to be Janet's comeback but now the attention will be on B. Will Janet be considered "just" a legacy act -

I'm happy she's going on tour. She can be close to her family. Will she tour Europe too. She could do jazz festivals. She looks beautiful and happy. Like a phoenix risen. -
So she's building the tour around the VR25 anniversary? It's good in the sense that the era was not really included in the documentary which was a bit strange. On the other hand I hoped she would create a new concept... We've seen enough anniversaries from her already

I will go crazy if she decides to tour & come to my country one more time She's looking amazing in every public event btw

I saw the TVR tour live in Europe in spring 1998 and I became a fan ever since! I was only 14 then, so young! the album was my teenage soundtrack! Even though I didn't really live the topics myself yet at that time . I became such a huge Janet fan and truly loved her art. I remember the Miss Janet chatroom (Dutch server) & I even ordered the Friends of Janet or was it Miss Janet magazine. I collected memorabilia and just loved her! I'm forever ever thankful that I got to see her on the Velvet Rope tour, it was such a special show. I've seen many artists ever since but that was truly special.

**Official RN Anniversary Tour Thread**

I wish I could have seen that show as well. However, my heart is still full cause I was able to see Janet on the TVR tour as a teen. -
It truly is. Every now and then when she smiles or makes a certain move I see a glimpse of Michael in her. She and MJ truly were something else. So talented and so naturally beautiful.

I miss Janet. I wonder if she's ever going to come back again. Will she release new music and videos or is she done? She was an amazing artist... I miss the 90s/2000s... Music was better then
-
From what I've seen from the videos she did an incredible show! I think this was her best in the last almost 20 years... She looked sooo good. The outfits were amazing and I loved her hair and make up!! The long black hair suits her the best! And the dancers.... Omg Great job!!!

Well I'm glad people are liking the pics. I just think she is more beautiful than these pics make her look. Her makeup team does great job on the eyes but I don't understand why they always highlight her nose. It makes her look too plastic/photoshopped. Anyways, the styling, clothes and accessories are cool. I just don't think these are the best pictures of her

Nice read, nothing new. The pictures aren't doing her justice. I saw better pics in the video from the shoot.

Janet Jackson Breaks Down Her Most Iconic Music Videos | Allure
bonsaibutterfly replied to MorganR's topic in All About Janet
Interesting video! I'm glad she's opening up more and sharing her personal experiences with us. I ended up missing comments on her collaboration with Missy on Son of a gun - one of her best songs, videos and looks! None of the Jackson kids ever 'needed' any plastic surgeries, they were all natural beauties and gorgeous. Janet has gained weight and is older, it's harder to stay fit. I like the black and blue braids, the shaved head not so much. But as always, she will come up with some look that slays, once she gets rid of those hoodies
