  1. I stopped at 1:04 Who directed this? Please don't tell me it was Anthony Mandler. Hints of Lana Del Rey's "Gods and Monster", "Scarface", and "Springbreakers" via inspiration from David LaChapelle. I just don't get it. It's not for me and I'm okay with that.
  2. Do you see me discussing much on this thread? No. I keep seeing the thread pop up and wonder what else could you guys be talking about? Didn't you get your refund? Whether the tour is postponed or not it's not happening now so you get your refund. It's that simple.
  3. Ya'll just need to stfu already! Damn. There is no more tour. Get your refund. Next.
  4. The final episode was a 2 parter and the last of the 2 was an amazing finale for Hannah's character. Very inspiring.
  5. She was on the last 3 episodes for the season finale. When she first walked into the room you could only make out her shadow and I knew it was her and then she walked into the light and I fainted. I don't think she will join the cast officially but I think there's still room for a couple of more episodes in the new season. Damn Lisa Bonet is so hot...always has been and always will be. She loves her girls too though.....living on her ranch on Topanga Canyon throwing Peyote parties!
  6. Yeah it was suppose to be 10 shows only at the O2.
  7. I'm not going to get into speculation but this could be very true. Prince admitted to being very promiscuous in his early days. Supposedly he was battling pneumonia for the last 3 weeks and when you are HIV positive, pneumonia kicks it in into full blown AIDS. Prince has been taking care of himself for the last 25 years even resorting to being celibate. At this point it doesn't matter how he died though. We lost an amazing soul and genius.
  8. Gosh I hope she comes back next season. Lisa Bonet is the new Sonia Braga of our generation. She just continues to get more beautiful.
  9. I would say top 5.....I just thought top 10 in the world was pretty bold enough to say.
  10. You might think it's cute to make backhanded comments regarding Janet on her own forum but it's becoming odious.
  11. No comparison.....Well Traveled. The song is actually the direction I would like Janet to take if she ever makes another album. Curtains! You got to be kidding me.
  12. I love her look on Anderson Cooper....she looked so classy and flawless. One of her best.
  13. It's more about the photography and the position of her face and the makeup. Some of these pics you guys are posting don't do her justice in my opinion. When Janet was on the Anderson Cooper Show she was glowing and so beautiful. One of her best looking interviews.
  14. I'm gutted. Prince was my childhood along with Janet. 2016: The year music died.
  15. Do you agree? What's your favorite pic of Janet's amazing beauty? I mean truly she is top 10 most beautiful in my eyes.
  16. I wouldn't really call it a full on tour as it was a club tour even here in the U.S. She performed at Webster Hall in New York which is a big dance hall.
  17. Why is it that Janet has so many amazing b-sides/unreleased songs that I love so much. So I say if we don't see Janet for a while her company should finally releases a huge compilation of b-sides and unreleased songs that we haven't heard and secure her legacy. Now we know that we have our fans that won't buy it cause they will find a way to download it from the internet but I for one love the packaging of compilations when done right. I know you all love to see Janet dance but I think we will see her again and hopefully see her transition into a vocalist cause she actually is a great vocalist. I would love to see her perform standing behind a stand up mic free styling singing these b-sides from Accept Me, What Can I Say, and My Need. I love these songs just as much if not more than some of the songs that did have singles released. I think fans that have been with Janet since the "Control" days will appreciate this thought but not so much for the fans that came after "All For You". I'm not saying a full blown concert tour of these songs but more of a special that is either televised or maybe performing these sets at the big cities like New York, Chicago, Miami and Los Angeles. I can only wish.
  18. For me it was the "Control" album.....the sound was crazy and infectious that you couldn't help but notice. What sealed the deal for me was "Pleasure Principle".....damn she murdered everyone with that video and left us hungry for more. 3 years later "Rhythm Nation" came out and Janet leaped and sealed her legendary status that quickly at the young age of 24 with that album. No one has repeated that quick rise of fame! Come on.....we are talking about 7 top five singles from R.N., 4 of which went number 1 (it was really 8 top 5 singles with the airplay that "State Of The World" received).....the album was close to producing 6 number 1 hits as 2 of those top 5 singles peaked at number 2 (Come Back To Me and Alright).
  19. True but I had that name since the message board existed on Janet's old site and when they took it down and Angela created this home for us in 2010 I ran with it....I have alway been FreeXone9 as 9 is my birth number. But maybe it's time for a rebirth. I'm gonna change it!
  20. At the time "Control" was nominated there was no album like it and it could not be ignored. Also Janet performed at the Grammy's cause they knew what an amazing performance Janet would give. Also during the time of "Control" it was up against other albums that were so different than hers like Paul Simon's album I believe. The Grammys were so different back then. Now the nominations of today are like the nominations that you see at The MTV Awards or The AMAS. The Grammys use to be so picky back then but R.N. and TVR should have been nominated.
  21. I keep telling that boy to change his screen name jokingly.
