Bailey Posted April 12, 2018 Share Posted April 12, 2018 I think it takes a lot of courage to open up about mental health issues, and for someone who is "high profile" saying she experiences issues makes her more human to me, and by speaking on the issue she takes control of it as opposed to the issue controlling her, worrying, afraid who knows, etc. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Being open about it will both help her to be able to cope with living with BPD and also do a huge amount of good in reducing the stigma of mental health issues and making it okay to be open and discuss them.
