Why? I already do plenty, plus on set it's all the people I work with talk about, good to show you know your shit when you're in that kind of convo, movie studying is very much a thing out here.

Um you like the faculty..... :umm: let's not :coffee: , 4 of the 7 saw movies slay and you will deal, at least they give out plot and character development and expansion unlike most films in the genre, hell at the very least the franchise has more innovative ways to kill than most films too. Sooo I'll stand by the films, and anticipate Saw 8

Don't do it with The Legendty. It stars Usher the Pharaoh Of Pop

4 out of 7 arent exactly great odds :lmao: No one is looking for those flashbacks within a flashback within a flashback :umm:

You're telling me their making ANOTHER saw movie? :umm::sigh:

well let's do some box office math shall we? What horror franchises have grossed the most money? Well get this, the first Halloween movie cost 350k to make, wait for it......it grossed WW to date 55 million.

The Halloween franchise, when compared to the other top-grossing American horror franchises—A Nightmare on Elm Street, Child's Play, Friday the 13th, the Hannibal Lecter series, Psycho, Saw, Scream, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre—and adjusting for the 2011 inflation,[36] is the fourth highest grossing horror franchise in the United States at approximately $557.5 million.[37] This list is topped by Friday the 13th at $687.1 million,[38] followed by the Nightmare on Elm Street series with $592.8 million.[39] The Hannibal Lecter film series closely follows in third with $588.7 million.[40] Following Halloween is the Saw series with $457.4 million,[41] Scream with $442.9 million,[42] Psycho with $376.3 million,[43] The Texas Chainsaw Massacre with $304.6 million,[44] and the Child's Play film series rounding out the list with approximately $203 million.[45]

Um.........I'm here for Ushers music and performances.....and only his music.....lets not on the movies.......Better than Timberlake but that don't take much.

2/7 arent great odds, 4/7 from me says that they're more hit than miss, Friday the 13th, Nightmare On Elm Street (which is my fave franchise), and Halloween have a less average . Clearly folks are since worldwide they've clocked $873,319,880, and was rated "Most Successful Horror Movie Series" (http://www.telegraph...films-ever.html) so I think people are/were checking for it for a reason......more than The Faculty.

Yup, the fans been setting up pettitions and sending things to LionsGate and the creaters begging for them to bring the franchise back, and recently they announced that they're getting started on something soon.....cementing it as the most successful Horror movie series. :yep::coffee:

The SAW series is like Rihanna, they try to play catch up by releasing a new album movie back to back every year. Yea you might have a bunch of number 1 hits, but at the end of the day no one remembers your songs films.

Actually no, it's not, because their fan reactions say otherwise, hell the public reviews for the series, and the critic reviews for 1,2,3,&6 say otherwise. They clocked iconic. Again, they had more hits in their series, characters, and better storylines than the other franchise films in the genre....So while your opinion says that it's not memorable, the world records and reception, and fans FORCING them to revive the franchise, says that your opinion aint the fact about them buddy lol.

The Flopty does it to itself. Does anyone even remember the movie? Let's not with the Pauper of Pop connection.

You must be getting Rihanna confused with Ushers last three albums. And who in the world remembers The Faculty? It wasn't even great when it was released...

Saw is shit too tho. First 2 - great. 3rd, cute. 4, 5 and 6 - piss off already.

YOU BESTA PREACH lol

Except about the series, 6 is brilliant, PERSONALLY I like it most, and think it's the only 1 post 3 that.....had a great twist and story. 4,5,&7..............didn't really need to happen. 4 could've been "Saw Part 3, part 2" basically. What hurt the storylines in the later sequels tho still arguably strong compared to other "Part 4, Part5, Part7" movies is that they killed off Jiggsaw too early, he was only alive for 3 of the 7 movies, tho they did a great job setting up for the others, he died too soon, Amanda too. But overall what works for the franchise is that you really never knew what the hell to expect................except part 7......I pretty much saw it all coming.........Lionsgate owes me a part 8 to make up for 7, just like they owed me part 6 to make up for 5, and they did good by me on that debt. But overall it's a strong and now iconic franchise, that was completely outside of the box and original, and substancial...I LOVE THAT!

Well pasta, what's unique about Saw is that it's not just torture, it's crime drama, it's comedic, and it has elements of horror, unlike most horror movies nowdays that just are porn/comedy/horror. I prefer this mix if theres gonna be a mix

Please no

Please they owe a make up from Saw 7 thats the only 1 where the story didn't quite match, like Im not big on 4 or 5 but at least they fit, Saw 7 was rushed and not done properly, they owe the fans of the franchise, realistically it's not going anywhere.

Exactly. Only fans.

The general public doesn't know who Jigflop is. Hence why Freddy, Jason, and Michael are having marathons on TV. While you're sitting home popping in DVD's, the average person isnt checking for a SAW marathon.

Even Texas Chain Flop is getting his airtime :coffee:

Are we really gonna try and compare Diarrhea to Usher? :umm: Fuckin laughable :lmao: Please don't. I wouldn't be able to take it :lmao:

YASSSS...the blessed Queenhanna's name has been brought up!!

Antyways....the fact is that Saw is disgusting and I will never watch another movie from that franchise. Gross.

I've always liked Scream and Freddy. The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre's are cool...most remakes/sequels in the 2000s of any horror movie were lame.

OUCH, you sir have really shot yourself in the foot on that contradiction, how is anything about the series a flop when it's rated the MOST successful Horror movie franchise of all time..........care to explain that 1 Effie? The General public apparantly must have major fans among it otherwise it wouldnt've been so heavily successful or revived at all....flop franchises dont get that kind of respect=Fail and contradiction.Sorry, you just cant call something a flop because you don't like it, flop implies/means it's not successful....not THE MOST successful. And this is kinda aukward because Syfy has Saw marathons all the time....if nobody was watching them.....they wouldnt.

Effie....don't try it with me with Saw and it's success.....I know to much and you don't know enough, it's not a fair fight, don't do this to yorself.....let it go, the franchise hit legendary and it's going to keep going and keep breaking records left right and center and you don't like it and your entitled to that feeling, but lets not just blatantly lie, thats not right. You're too grown for that

Being the most "popular/successful" at something does not equal being Iconic. When will you people learn that?

McDonald's is the most successful food chain of all time. But EVERYONE knows that the food is not good for you. It is not quality. NO ONE respects McDonald's, nor do they value it as a nutritional product.

The same should be said for SAW (and Madonna and Rihanna). Their popular, but no one respects them or sees them as art :yep:

Ef8inch is trying it with me. Maybe he wants this boypussy...I don't know. He knew saying Rihanna's name would bring the best members of the forum into this thread.
