  1. Here's the bottom line: No honest, hard-working artist wants to cancel shows. They don't want to lose money, they don't want to let their fans down and they don't want their promoter to lose faith in them and they don't want to burn bridges in the future with that. I don't know how people fail to realize this.

  5. Similarities Between Janet and Jesus/God Let's look at the evidence: First off, "Janet" and "Jesus" have the same amount of letters, five (5). As we all know, Jesus died on the cross for our sins. He was placed on the crossed, and killed. Similarly, Janet died on the stage for our sins: After Nicki Minaj's nip-slip in August, this tweet popped up: It's alright, Nicki. This isn't 2004 anymore. Janet Jackson paid in blood for all future nip slips by female entertainers. https://twitter.com/#!/BarkBiteBlog/statuses/99496516183523328 The cross has been synonymous with Jesus' name. And the symbol hat has become synonymous with Janet's name? In Matthew 27:4 of the Bible, Jesus is proclaimed to be innocent. Funny how this just popped up a few days ago: "Janet Jackson’s wardrobe malfunction may have been embarrassing, but a panel of three federal court judges decided it wasn’t illegal." http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1111/67440.html But speaking of the Bible, Jesus rose from the dead on the third day. Similarly "Janet's" "third day": On the 7th day of creating the Earth, God rested and reflected on his accomplishments. Considering the masses believe "Control" is "Janet's" first release, the 7th release would be: And what was the story behind this album? Jesus was guided through human life by Three Wise Men: Hebrews 5:7; King James Version (KJV) Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Jesus showing human emotion. We see Janet do the same during Ryan Seacrest: :40 Matthew 2:2 2 Saying, dWhere is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen ehis star in the east, and are come to worship him Jesus was worshiped by all, and like Janet: Jesus came to proclaim freedom for believers - Luke 4:18 www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rgusJ9XrHI Nobody believed in Jesus while he was on Earth. http://youtube.com/watch?v=Lj27gDxbSmQ Disciples bear witness of Jesus Christ - John 15:27 http://planetjanet.invisionzone.com/index.php?/members/ The Scriptures bear witness of Jesus - John 5:39 Janet said she doesn't keep a diary. Soooooo The Prophets bear witness of Jesus - Acts 10:43 http://youtube.com/watch?v=S3CIeZwEx2A Would Jimmy lie? You be the judge.

  6. He didn't say anything we hadn't already said. Spare me the Madonna part, and people have really let the whispering excuse become a cliche. The last album is full of audible vocals, along with the last few releases.

  20. How are Janet and the promoters HONESTLY responsible for that comp. when she 1) Couldn't prevent her health issue 2) it was OPTIONAL for them to come to the concert at the lengths they did 3) She and the promoters only control the tickets, all else was up to the fans. And the tickets are being refunded.

  22. :lmao: Its eating you inside isn't it? What does that have to do with anything? People are going to keep liking Rihanna, get over it, congratulating her on 11 #1's isnt hurting Janet 1 bit and it probably dont bother her, the only person it's bothering is YOU. You were making a somewhat valid point before you went there. Jeez let it go, the bitch is on top right now, get over it, it's not blocking Janet or blocking her, so thats completely irrelevant to her success and Janet fans supporting her is completely irrelevant to Janet's past present or future success. (I do love how you say it like we have to sneak around to congratulate Rihanna like its a big secret that your not supposed to know but you caught us, that did make me laugh) Also with the age/black thing, look @ Diana Ross & Aretha, they both started out as kids too but by their mid 40's the hits stop comming, and neither of them stopped recording, my point is being black doesn't gurantee talent (Hell LaToya's black too)but having hits at this age shouldnt be top of the list for musicians of that caliber once you've been in the industry for 30 years (hell in Janet's case 38). So basically I see and understand and somewhat agree with what your saying for the most part (except for the part that had NOTHING to do with the convo) but Janet still dosent have it THAT easy. I mean your comparisons about her with JLO & Madge are correct but still they did those things and got hits, Janet released Make Me (a pretty solid song) and actually promoted it almost better than she promoted Feedback (hell Id say better) and it didnt do anything on the pop charts, or the R&B charts, thus proving that if she does want more chart hits (which I doubt she cares about after a 38 yr career in this industry) she's gotta really put alot of work into it just like everybody else past 40. She's different in all the ways you listed, but its still not that easy for her. Personally I dont care what she does on the charts or ofcourse what awards she gets or certifications, I just want a top notch quality from beginning to end album with great promo and no banning from any radio outlets, and I think most would agree with that, thats what matters to me. But to alot of fans, all of the above, plus hits, plus awards, plus this that & those also, I think a large amount want her to be who she was between 89-97, but between those albums she was 24, 27, & 31, she's 45 now, she's not gonna be able to give us every thing we got from those 3 eras, so I think it's too much to expect that from her. She's gonna give us what she got, when she got it, and successful or not thats what she's been doing, and I dont see that stopping nor do I want it too (despite my feelings about Discipline). So Janet's uphill battle isnt as rough as like Toni Braxton's but it's not gonna be smooth either, but no matter what race you are, for most women in this industry the career turns into a uphill battle regardless

  23. What does this have anything to do with your comment making absolutely no sense? Saying she's making it up as an excuse cause she doesn't FEEL like it (when clearly if this was the case she would have just originally scheduled less shows. She's not being forced) is still stupid, no matter what you say about her.

  24. Uhh if you've been paying attention to the trial AT ALL. The verdict wasn't even planned to come until THIS week plus the delays and all. And that's going to next week. The family wanted her there for the Defense's last witnesses. If Janet didn't want to tour or "do as many shows" then she wouldn't have even put herself in it at all. We should know this by now, as her fans. Her health hasn't always been the greatest and things like this have happened before. Think subjectively before criticizing her, thanks.

  25. There were multiple postponements and delays with the trial AND she was there to support her family AND even in going back to LA she came back and has done shows since then...why make up an excuse now? You are failing. She is human. Realize this soon, please.

  26. If she didn't want to perform "more shows than she wants to" she wouldn't schedule them. People get sick, especially considering the extreme amount of pressure she's under emotionally, and put her self in physically with these international trips and rigorous shows back to back.

  27. That's understandable. These things just happen sometimes. And she has been under alot between her health, the tour, the trial, and recent news-the movie. But we know her, she'll do everything in her power not to disappoint. Keep your fingers crossed and here's to wishing her a good and swift recovery.

  29. Awww *hugs* Relax and keep your spirits up. She'll be just fine with her health and so will the show. Looks like she'll out of rest just in time for your show. It's still the 8th, yes?

  30. They need to get GOT. I would be incredibly frustrated and upset as well though. But I would understand in every way that it's something she needed to do. I mean, I'm traveling to see her and if something like this happened, I'd be DEEP in the hole. Very upsetting, but you have to want what's best for her...some of these fans appear very selfish.

  33. Parents lose custody of girl for naming her Talula Does the Hula From Hawaii Barbara McMahon in Sydney guardian.co.uk, Thu 24 Jul 2008 09.44 BST A nine-year-old girl whose parents named her Talula Does the Hula From Hawaii was put into court guardianship in New Zealand so that her name could be changed. A family court judge, Rob Murfitt, gave the order after hearing that the child was embarrassed about her name and had refused to reveal it to friends. "She told people her name was K because she feared being mocked and teased," the child's lawyer, Colleen MacLeod, told the court. The judge criticised parents who give their offspring bizarre names, saying it exposed children to ridicule among their peers. "The court is profoundly concerned about the very poor judgment that this child's parents have shown in choosing this name. It makes a fool of the child and sets her up with a social disability and handicap, unnecessarily," he said. He said the child had a better insight about the situation than her parents, who had apparently not given any thought to the implications of their actions. The judge criticised the growing trend of parents choosing out-of-the-ordinary names for their children. In his written ruling, he said names such as Stallion, Yeah Detroit, Fish and Chips, Twisty Poi, Keenan Got Lucy and Sex Fruit were prohibited by registration officials. Others that were permitted included twins called Benson and Hedges, other children called Midnight Chardonnay, Number 16 Bus Shelter and, the judge added, "tragically, Violence". Another mother tried to use text language for her child's name, he said. The ruling was handed down in February but only came to light in law reports issued today. The girl, who had been at the centre of a custody battle, has since changed her name, but it was not revealed in order to protect her privacy. Brian Clarke, the registrar general of births, deaths and marriages, said New Zealand law did not allow names that would cause offense to a reasonable person. He said officials were usually successful in dissuading parents from giving their children embarrassing names. http://m.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2008/jul/24/familyandrelationships.newzealand?cat=lifeandstyle&type=article
