I believe you can have gifs in there.
Honestly, the Downloads,Chat, Blogs, and Gallery just came with the purchase Maybe we can throw in some screensavers but I see that maybe being the least used aspect of this forum
I've changed some settings on the gallery features so you guys should be able to create albums on here. I think they should be Janet-themed pictures and maybe we'll have various albums. It'd be nice to see what we can create
I'm actually very surprised with the post count and the amount of members. One of the things about moving around too much is that people eventually stop moving with you lol
So I am surprised at the rapid growth, but I am pleasantly surprised
I personally didn't mind the chaos since I was used to it for years. But then we would get people who were new and would complain that it wasn't a Janet forum since most of the topics were about gay sex and whatnot So I wanted to add a little distinction, but I didn't want to overdo it. I don't like those boards that have a million and one sections.
You may be but there are already people bitching and complaining. My main concern right now is the security features. There are some things I don't want members to have access to, so I have to keep double checking by creating a dummy account just to be sure members can't see it. That's more important than the look and feel of the forum right now.
That was 24 hours ago.
There is no announcement needed. It's quite simple: stop bitching about it because it is annoying and it will get done. There's already a thread on it so I already know which ones to pick. This is a new board and I'm still going through a LOT of the functionality on the Administrative Control Panel, so yes, patience is needed. .
If someone else bothers me about the smilies again, I'm going to take an even longer time. The forum has only been up for a day and I am busy with other things outside of the forum. Patience is a virtue. It will get done. I acknowledged in my email that yes the smilies weren't up yet, but I don't need constant reminders that they're not here.
