  1. Birthday Cake to be released this Monday Feb. 20th

Fans sweet on island hitmaker Rihanna‘s ‘Birthday Cake’, lifted from sixth album ‘Talk That Talk’, will certainly be talking when they find out who her co-star is on the remix according to producers.

Despite igniting (then quickly shooting down) rumors that ‘Beautiful’ belter Christina Aguilera would make a cameo on ‘Cake’, Da Internz (The Dream‘s co-producers of the track) took to MTV to share news of the song’s revamp.

Already confirming the album interlude has been rebooted with a full version and granted single status, the production duo also hint at a visual to accompany the sexy tune. But, did they drop hints on who the ‘shocking’ co-star will be? (NO IT WILL NOT BE CHRIS BROWN)

the song will be released this Monday Feb. 20th Rihanna's Birthday

Manchester Arena and O2 Arena, the two largest indoor arenas in the U.K., dominate this week’s Hot Tours rankings with concert box office totals reported from the final quarter of 2011. Eight of the 10 top-grossing tours in this week’s tally are based on the reported grosses from these two arenas.

Rihanna is No. 1 with ticket sales revenue from the final European leg of her Loud Tour that began in June 2011 and wrapped in December. More than 116,000 fans attended the seven London shows with tickets sales totaling £5.3 million ($8.5 US$). The Manchester Arena also reported three Rihanna concerts, adding £2 million ($3.1 US$) to the native Barbadian’s $12.6 million combined box office gross that lands her this week’s top ranking. In addition to these two U.K. arenas, the 15,000-seat O2 World in Hamburg, Germany also reported ticket sales from its Loud Tour performance on Dec. 4 that drew a sellout crowd of 13,409.

  3. Rihanna Renews ‘Love’ Affair Atop Hot 100

After a two-week respite, Rihanna’s “We Found Love,” featuring Calvin Harris, returns to the Billboard Hot 100 summit (2-1) for a ninth total week in charge.

The song, which already represents Rihanna’s longest residence at No. 1 on the Hot 100, matches Ke$ha’s “TiK ToK” in early 2010 for the longest time tallied atop the Hot 100 for any song since the Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling” racked 14 weeks on top in summer 2009.

On Radio Songs, “We Found Love” rules for an eighth week (152 million audience impressions, according to Nielsen BDS), granting Rihanna her longest reign on the list as a lead act, besting the seven-week domination of her “What’s My Name?,” featuring Drake, early last year. She also ties her longest stranglehold atop the chart overall, having spent eight weeks at No. 1 on Radio Songs as a guest on T.I.’s “Live Your Life” in 2008-09 and Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie” in 2010.

On Digital Songs, “We Found Love” descends 2-4 with 185,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

this is one of her biggest songs ever

  6. Rihanna’s ‘We Found Love’ Matches Her Longest Hot 100 Reign

Rihanna matches her longest command of the Billboard Hot 100, as “We Found Love,” featuring Calvin Harris, spends a seventh week at No. 1.

She had previously led for seven frames with “Umbrella,” featuring Jay-Z, in 2007 and as a guest on Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie” last year.

“Found” equals Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” – the year’s No. 1 Hot 100 song – for the chart’s longest rule this year. “Found” extends its stay in the Hot 100′s penthouse by spending a fourth week at No. 1 on Radio Songs with 146 million all-format audience impressions (up 2%), according to Nielsen BDS. On the Digital Songs chart, the track holds at No. 2 for a third frame, after five frames at No. 1, with 149,000 downloads sold (down 9%), according to Nielsen SoundScan.

  7. Rihanna becomes the UK’s biggest selling singles artist of 2011

New sales data from the Official Charts Company reveals that Rihanna has overtaken Adele to become the UK’s biggest singles artist of 2011.

Based on all sales year to date, Rihanna has sold 3,119,000 tracks in the UK while Adele has sold 3113,000. Rihanna overtook Adele last month to become the artist who has spent the most week’s at the top of the Official Singles Chart in 2011 when her track ‘We Found Love’, Ft Calvin Harris, gave the Barbadian singer her then collective sixth week at Number 1 compared to Adele’s five.

‘We Found Love’, from her current album ‘Talk That Talk’ is RiRi’s biggest selling single this year, clocking up over 771,000 sales, making it the eighth biggest selling single of 2011 so far, while tracks such as ‘S&M’ (633,000) and ‘What’s My Name’ (343,000), which are taken from her 2010 album, ‘Loud’, have continued to sell well this year.

  8. people say that they hate it but i think that lots of ppl will change their opinion once she released the video. It probably wont go to #1 but it's gonna make ppl like it a lot more

the production on that song is good it doesn't even sound like a Dr Luke production "where have you been" will be her next big hit
