  1. That album cover looks fanmade and bland. This album is going to be a huge disappointment.
  2. I wasn't a huge fan of the hair to begin with. He's too old to have a 19-year old's haircut. But now that he's shaved off his facial hair, it proves how much he's aged since he first came out. He's not even attractive anymore. Ew.
  3. Red Hair: 1. Rihanna 2. Faith Evans 3. Mary J. Blige Bleached Blonde: 1. Christina Aguilera 2. Beyonce (I've always liked Bey's hair lighter -- most people don't.) 3. Mary J. Blige Dark Hair: 1. Rihanna 2. Christina Aguilera 3. Ciara All three: 1. Christina Aguilera 2. Rihanna 3. Mary J.
  4. He doesn't even look the same. He was a nice size on Moesha.
  5. Good lord. His brother blew the fuck up.
  6. Definitely The Pleasure Principle. That song is so underrated in my eyes. You Can Be Mine. Not that big of a fan of He Doesn't Even Know I'm Alive.
  7. Other: Cole World: The Sideline Story For all the hype it received I thought it would have been a classic debut. Instead, it's an overlengthy misstep. Some songs caught my interest but overall, nothing new. Sorely disappointed.
  8. I watched this early this morning and it warmed my heart.
  9. I think the whole 'sex symbol' thing has been a blessing and a curse as well. Many times society/audiences can't see past the explicit image of people in general. Janet has contributed way more to the industry than being a sex symbol but as a woman and as a musician who's assertive enough to declare her joys of sex she gets shunned for it. Being sexy isn't the best way to market yourself sometimes if you want to do things with more substance. That's why Rihanna will have a hard time if her career shifts with age. She won't enjoy the same liberties as Beyonce, who also does sell sex but not in such a blatant fashion.

  11. Here's hoping this album can bring some substance back to her music. Stale Candy gave me nothing but nightmares.
  12. Damita Jo collectively isn't that bad. It's pretty much a more expanded version of All For You in my eyes. If it wasn't for the Superbowl, it probably would have been a success. It still fit the discography. It had great songs ("All Nite," "I Want You," "SloLove") and still showed some growth in terms of production and being more daring musically. 20 Y.O. was just complete garbage. It didn't fit the initial idea of the project. Although there was sampling of classic 80's records, it didn't celebrate Control. It almost disfigured it. No record on that album is considered classic Janet in my eyes. It's barely listenable sometimes. Jermaine Dupri taking over was a mistake from the beginning. For the celebration of 20 years, it felt as if Janet was trying to compete with the girls who listened to her album as kids. I just couldn't agree with this project. Discipline wasn't bad at first. It's still not a horrible album. It's probably what I would have wanted if Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis did it altogether. But instead, there were so many producers brought in that it had more mixed results. It's a great pop album, but only a decent Janet album.
  13. This is old as fuck. This was during Halloween a couple of years ago when she dressed up as Storm.
  14. 1. Although I may seem like a big character, there's a deeper, more powerful side to me that only certain people get to see. 2. Every action, every word is natural. Nothing is contrived. 3. You cannot anger or offend me and if you do it won't lead to an argument or any form of aggression for the most part. 4. Although I seem intimidating, I'm pretty humble and friendly to everyone. 5. Whatever you're thinking about me, get it out of your head because I'm usually a totally different way.
  15. I don't see anything wrong with it because music listeners have the shortest attention span they've ever had currently. She needs to continue releasing or else she'll be lost in the shuffle. I just hope she arrives with something different each time. I'm not asking for much because she's not an artist of much substance but at least bring something that I can decipher from everything else you've done.
  16. I've known about Calvin since "Acceptable In The 80's." He's really hot overseas. I just wish we had more details on this project. It's like we're going in without anything except a release date and single.
  17. The reason I think it could possibly be is because of the image. I like where she's going and her production choices are better. She's not just working with The-Dream or any bullshit producer. For her to choose Calvin Harris shows that she's gaining some knowledge and influence from Europe.
