  1. Any of those would be lovely. Just as long as they include "Diana" somewhere. Excellent! She was one amazing woman.
  2. Damn. I was really hoping Pac would win. Mayweather's ego is big enough as it is. He could use being knocked down a peg or two.
  3. I have Facebook and it's the one I use often. I post the occasional "life update", I'll say, and sometimes pictures for my family and friends that I don't see often. My main use for it is news items, connecting with my sorors and frats, posting random things like quotes, and posting the results of fun little quizzes I take from Buzzfeed and Disney. I've gone through several Twitter accounts. I have a new one, but I don't do much tweeting myself. I honestly just have it as another way to keep up with the world through those I follow. Instagram, I have, but like Twitter I don't do much with it. I might have like 4 posts on it. All in all, I'm not sure how I "discipline" myself per se. Even with Facebook, which is the one I use most often, if it wasn't for the quizzes and some of the pages I follow I would only log on about once or twice a month. I just don't have that draw to them since they're the ultimate drama magnets and drama is something I avoid unless necessary. I also stay involved in other things in my actual life so as not to get sucked into them. Once I got to college, I honestly cared much less about social media and more about what I was doing in my real life since I was finally able to have more to do now that I'm away from home.
  4. Alice is a beautiful name. Alice Diana C/Katherine(or Charlotte since it's also very popular now) Mountbatten-Windsor. I love it! I have fun with names. What an honor! Especially since it's this princess being she's the granddaughter of Princess Diana
  5. It's official! Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed their first daughter into the world in Paddington, London at St. Mary's Hospital on Saturday, May 2. And just four hours after her arrival, the official announcement for the royal baby was posted on an easel outside Buckingham Palace. The gold easel was placed in the forecourt at 12:30 p.m., with the notice printed, signed, and framed by the medical staff at St. Mary's Hospital. The framed bulletin was brought out of the Privy Purse Door and will be on display for 24 hours. It will then be sent to the Privy Council Office so that it can be recorded in the Privy Council records. The declaration is a tradition for the royal family. It was last used for the birth of Prince George in July 2013. (At the time, the easel was even driven over by police escort!) Like before, an insider tells Us Weekly that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will soon be visited by friends and family at St. Mary's Hospital. This time, however, their bouncing baby boy Prince George may be in attendance! St. Mary's Hospital has been the chosen location for royal births since the 1970s. Before then, royal families traditionally welcomed their children at home. Middleton and Prince William's baby girl is now the 11th known royal to be born at the facility. Other notable births include her grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Harry, and Peter and Zara Phillips. Her proud father Prince William was the first future king to be born there. Oh, please let them name her "Diana".
  6. Happy Birthday, sugar!! It's truly my pleasure to get to call you a good friend of mine especially as of the last several months. You are one hell of a wonderful guy, and I hope you have a fantastic time today. Have fun and enjoy yourself! All the best for this year and many, many more!
  7. Janet, JoJo, and Nelly Furtado are the only ones I care about. Sean Paul, too, I guess.
  8. Bernie Sanders is running for president The independent Vermont senator announced his run in an email to supporters and media sent just after midnight early Thursday morning. "After a year of travel, discussion and dialogue, I have decided to be a candidate for the Democratic nomination for president," he wrote in the email, highlighting economic inequality, climate change and the Citizens United Supreme Court decisions as key issues spurring him to run. Sanders first confirmed to the Associated Press in a story published Wednesday that he plans to run for the Democrats' 2016 presidential nomination. "People should not underestimate me," Sanders told The Associated Press. "I've run outside of the two-party system, defeating Democrats and Republicans, taking on big-money candidates and, you know, I think the message that has resonated in Vermont is a message that can resonate all over this country." Sanders is an outspoken critic of Wall Street banks and the outsized influence of money in politics and is a supporter of universal health care. He regularly talks about the need to rebuild the middle class and raise taxes on America's highest earners. In interviews before his campaign announcement, Sanders said trade, income inequality and health care would be key tenants of his run. But despite having vocal liberal supporters on these issues, Sanders is a dark horse candidate and has acknowledged that his run will be uphill. Sanders enters a race that has so far been dominated by Clinton, the former secretary of state and Democrats' prohibitive favorite for the nomination. For most of 2015, Sanders has been reticent to attack Clinton, but he recently has issued statements calling on her to change her policy positions. He may not get the nomination, but he will certainly be the one to shift the political conversation to where it belongs.
  9. Eh...it's very forgettable to me, but I can't say I blame her for using her relationship as a basis for it. If she needed to vent then go ahead. The kids will have to deal with any tension between them regardless of her releasing a song on it or not. Hopefully this is part of her closure instead of her dwelling on it, though. Maybe I'll get into it after a couple more listens, though, but right now I'm just not feeling it.
  10. I like it! I think I'll love the video and song. I don't get why artists these do teaser videos, though. I mean music videos are just 4-5 minutes long, really. Not much to "tease". Not like MJ since he was really releasing short films.
  11. Missed opportunity, but maybe she really does have little interest in keeping up with her career. One idea after another seems to lead to nowhere. Oh well, I guess.
  12. The first step is always denial. He just won't learn to accept the very likely probability that Janet wants different things now. No-one that close to her has confirmed anything (barely hinted at that) and she said herself that any news will come from HER which disregards even their statements. I just don't get it. Aww, thank you. I love you, too. Game, we had this fight for like a year and you lost. Do you want "Catching Fire"? You have too little to stand on here for having your hopes up so high. The definitive statement was Janet's tweet about something coming from her own lips if something were to happen said it all. She meant to stop putting your faith in these rumours and if she's planning something then SHE will be the one to say it. She hasn't and so there's no reason to think she's planning something. Hell, she's even said so in the past and STILL nothing came. You can call us ignorant all you want and if it makes you feel better then go ahead. Just know that everyone here wants her back, but until she actually releases something like an album cover/title, single, or something substantial then there's no reason to jump on everything you hear.
  13. Yeah, probably haha, or like that whole "people only use 10% of their brains" nonsense. Taking a study out of context.
  14. The fact that some people still haven't learned their lesson.
  15. Misunderstanding of science as I understand it. I don't see anything from a credible source to suggest it's fixed even if we grant the notion that it's on the way to recovery. Yup yup, doesn't make any sense at all. Speaking of "yup yup", though, we can't forget about Ducky.
  16. Yes! Spike is everything in these movies. Petrie, too, honestly. No, thanks. Not really into Judeo-Christian mythology.
  17. I can't with you today! :lmao: You and I both! If I can find it somewhere. They're just so adorable, fun, and nostalgically awesome.
  18. Me too! True, they really did. I think after the first 5 they should have stopped, lol. Apparently they have a new movie coming out either late this year or early next year. The series was good, too. Dinosaurs were also her children once, dearie.
  19. Happy Earth Day! But this is the only Little Foot I remember
