Wow, she looks fantastic! Love the hair.

And where have YOU been?!
Getting lost in other parts of the interwebs.
-
I take the fact that she's never performed Every Time as a personal affront. My fave ballad of hers.
-
Spice Girls, of course.
(Love all those groups, though ... except for the two or 3 I've never heard of ).

I definitely encourage moving if you have the desire - I think there's something really refreshing about getting out and being in a new place (I tend to feel reinvigorated when I live somewhere else - when I'm in my hometown, I get stuck in a rut).
In terms of where you should go - I feel like different cities have different personalities. If you feel like New York is the place for you, go for it!

Did the guy get acquitted too? So a murderer is still out there? Such a complicated case.
Amanda's boyfriend was acquitted too, but there's a third man who's currently serving time in prison for the murder. So, no, the murderer is not still out there.
i didn't follow this case.. was it a UK thing?
It was a UK-US-Italy thing. A British student was murdered while studying in Italy. Amanda Knox, an American, was her roommate there.

I changed mine when I was younger - my parents divorced when I was a kid, so they hyphenated my last name to incorporate both of their last names. Which I'm quite happy with. I don't think I'd change it again - not when I get married or anything like that.

So far, I know I'll be watching:
Parks & Rec
Up All Night
Two and a Half Men (gonna see how that goes tonight)
Glee (gonna see how that goes, too)
Maybe a little Dancing With the Stars. Maybe some Big Bang Theory. There's SO much I'd like to watch but there are only so many hours in the day. I watch a lot of talk shows (daytime and late night)

we shall see but mama has spoken......she thinks this will be the last season
I think the show was nearing the end of its run anyway - only had a season or two left in it. I doubt Ashton is capable of reviving it beyond that point, though I'd love for him to surprise me.
-
my mom says its not going to work, she religiously watches this show I made her all 8 seasons on dvd, she watches them all the time. She doesn't like/know Ashton
My parents watch it religiously too - I know my mom loves Ashton; I think we're all just waiting to see whether or not he fits in.
I was definitely underwhelmed when Ashton was announced as a replacement, especially after some of the other names that had been tossed around. But it could work.

It's an European thing, the metrosexual guy is what's in. For some reason Graham(sp) had a contest "Gay or European" on his show.
you look at the portuguese hoes 90% of them look gay and only like 5% really are
Yeah, I was trying to remember where I saw that.
-
I don't see that so much in the US - but then guys in the UK and in Europe often seem a bit more feminine. My gaydar goes all haywire when I'm over there.

I hear Manual saves gas who knows I don't know, some people just get a power kick from it, plus high performance sports cars are kinda built for manual
Yeah, for people who are interested in cars and that sort of thing, I can see how they might prefer it. All I care about is getting from point A to point B with as little hassle as possible.

Automatic. I have no idea how to drive a stick and it just seems like unnecessary bother.
-
I know just how you feel.
What are we going to do with ourselves after the show? There's nothing left to accomplish in life anymore.
I'll probably have to turn to hard drugs . . .
-
It'll be interesting to see how it goes with Ashton - I'm a fan of the show, and I think it has a great cast, it all just depends on how Ashton fits in.

That's my whole reason of wanting to be in a big city. I've wanted to live in NYC since I was 7 anyway so I was thinking I should just go to college there and make friends as opposed to moving there later in life.
Nd I was a part of key club for only 2 years too! LOL Do colleges like it?
Yep. I think it helped me, at least. I was in it for 4 years.

I HAVE TICKETS TO SEE JANET JACKSON.
I never thought this day would come.

Yep i've been told that they have more of those old ass movies and tv shows than newer movies if you do the streaming.
Yeah, most of the movies available for streaming are older (which I don't mind, personally), but there are quite a few current TV shows on there.

The frigging 60% price hike pissed me off, but I'm enough of a Netflix addict to keep at it for now. But I'd definitely like for them to increase the number of things that are available to stream on the internet - the way things are going, the opposite is happening. I'm gonna stay with them for a few more months and see how things go.

Indeed, that last one JoeJoe posted is the correct one.

those side effects don't seem to be extreme
No - looking at it, it seems to have among the mildest side effects of anything. But of course there's a risk that comes with anything.
-
he said he got $2,000 from it... donated to his campaign
what's the side effects?
The CDC lists the side effects here: http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vac-gen/side-effects.htm#hpvgardasil
Mostly just fever, headaches, etc. - same with any vaccination. I'm very sensitive to medication/chemicals (at my doctor's office, they always make me lie down when I get an injection, because I'm prone to passing out ), and I had all 3 rounds of the HPV vaccine and all it did was make my arm hurt like hell (which I remember being the same problem that my other friends had when they got it - most painful shot I've ever had).

Get that money, Janet!
Also, I would imagine these weight loss companies are becoming more and more popular and therefore are able to afford to pay the big $$$ to get much more prominent celebrity endorsements. Plus, it'll be nice to see Janet doing something mainstream, IMO.
