It’s a good movie with a brilliant soundtrack. Was the film Oscar worthy? Fuck no. But the music sure was.

Many people have criticised the GG win. ASIB was always going to be an Oscar favourite thanks to the previous versions. There was buzz long before Gaga was even attached it. She’s having a resurgence sure but it is far too early to say she’s dominating when there’s people out performing and out succeeding her on their respective fields.

Her acting is wooden. She was not that great in ASIB except the music which was excellent. On top of that her music is only winning because it appeals to soccer mums and Trump America. If she was doing her normal pop again she’d fade back into oblivion.
