    I kind of keep thinking she's going to release a 2017 version of either 'State of the World' or 'The Knowledge' featuring Kendrick Lamar or someone like that. But that probably would've happened by now. So maybe it's just a brand new single (the way 'Make Me' was a one-off single), which I am definitely here for.

    I know it doesn't work this way, but hopefully they'll honor her legacy with at least one nomination. Fingers crossed!

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but I do think Janet said on one of the talk shows (David Letterman, maybe?) that she was voting for Obama. I'd need to look it up. Anyway, I'm just glad people are rediscovering Nasty Would've been cool for her (or Jimmy at least) to have fun with it with a tweet along the lines of "Nasty boys...NO. Nasty women...YES" buuuut I totally get that she's preoccupied at the moment.

    I know it's a loooooooooong shot, but it would be so awesome if Janet was the surprise presenter of the Video of the Year at the VMAs this weekend. They always have an "elder statesmen" present that award. Would be such a cool moment for her (and us, really... haha).

    I feel like I read in an interview somewhere (vague, I know... let me try to find it) that Jimmy Jam was talking about doing his own album with Terry Lewis. Like, an album full of Jimmy Jam and Terry songs featuring other artists (like Robyn and the other ones they've been working with recently). I wouldn't be surprised if we got a new Janet song that way.

    A friend, who knows I love Janet, tagged me in this FB post... I'm digging this take on Control. Love how much Janet has influenced indie artists. I'd love her to explore/collab with these kind of under-the-radar folks...

    I think we can all agree, though, that if she released an amazing video (I know, I know... keep dreaming), it would ease some of the pain/bad vibes we're feeling from these cancellations. Any sort of goodwill act would help...

    I guess it's big news because she probably never planned to perform at a sporting event ever again? But yeah, the tease did feel a little misleading... was really, really REALLY hoping for an official video for TGF or at least Dammn Baby. :/

    I bet maybe she's working on new visuals for the next leg of the Unbreakable Tour. Perhaps a montage of her different shows or something? I'm down for that. (although I really want a couple more videos from this album, too)
