  1. I honestly think it’s far more likely that super Michael or Janet Jackson fans are the “blinded” ones. I’m a MASSIVE JJ stan, but I’m not gonna pretend like it’s not a very real possibility MJ was guilty of inappropriate behavior with these kids. His reality was warped. We all know it. Everyone is screaming to believe victims when they come forward, but does that only apply when the accused isn’t a worshipped pop-culture hero? I kind of understand Janet not wanting to believe such a thing as his sister. Her statement of “he didn’t have it in him” sounded almost cliche, though. Doesn’t every mom/brother/sister think that when a loved one is in a similar situation. It just doesn’t compute for them.
  2. OMG ear worm! is this JJ&TL produced?? Sounds like it.
  3. I can NOT believe it’s been 7 years since Unbreakable. It still feels new to me somehow.
  4. I listened to the whole thing. My gut tells me he was a sh*t stirrer, which is why he wasn’t asked back for TVR. He did a lot of finger pointing in this. Everyone else around him had issues - never him.
  5. All I know is that there are commercials every 5 minutes and it’s pissing me off.
  6. Their banter together made this unique actually. Shawnette is HILARIOUS.
  7. Anybody watch this on Facebook Live a couple days ago??? Tina, Kelly, Nikki and Shawnette were on together. Jimmy Jam joined too - was AMAZING.
  8. Was it ever professionally recorded though? I agree - she repeated the script too much from Janet. To TVR.
  9. RN maybe wasn’t the hardest, but judging from the video I just saw of it for the first time, it was the most energetic. She had me sweating just watching her. And her VOCALS were kick-ass.
  10. Lifetime??? Ummm that’s a bit bootleg. I was hoping this would be on Netflix.
  11. To me, they are the same level of greatness, just from the perspective a woman in 1997 at age 31 vs the same woman in 2015 at age 48.
  12. Free Woman Is my JAM. Puts me in a great frame of mind - LOVE it. Also love Enigma, Replay, Alice and Babylon.
  13. Album is GREAT. 911 isn’t a bad song, but it’s far from a favorite on the album. Was really surprised it was chosen as a single.
  14. It’s a banger for sure. Love it. I’m just spoiled when it comes to dance videos because of Janet. I don’t like to watch non-dancers dance in pop videos. Can be a little cringey.
  15. I’ve been a fan of Gaga from the beginning and did not care for Artpop and Joanne. This one is FULL of straight up bangers, though, if you’re a fan of true dance/house music. Think of it as her Confessions on a Dance Floor. It blasts off right out of the gate and never slows down. She may have actually benefitted from pulling the project until this is all over because the music practically commands a dance floor. It’s nice entertainment while we are all bored to death though.
  16. I actually loved the enigmatic approach to release of Unbreakable. It was fitting for the record - she just let the (amazing) music speak for itself. Glad to see her out and about this time, though. Curious about the new music - are Jimmy and Terry involved? <fingers crossed>
  17. Perfect review of this album. It is a masterpiece. The “sonic bed,” as Jimmy says, truly is amazing. The sounds take you to a specific place emotionally throughout. It’s a journey.
  18. I hate the baby making songs. Always have.
  19. With that first single? Absolutely not. And the quality overall just wasn't there - very phoned-in work. Now, I think when All Nite hit, the album would have definitely had a spike if the controversy had not existed- similar to when Together Again dropped from TVR. All Nite was just begging to be a big hit - literally everyone I know (non fans) that heard that song, loved it.
  20. This made me smile. Gladys’ voice brings tears to my eyes.

  22. OH, and OJ is innocent too, right? Come on folks. Get your heads out of the sand. None of us wants our heroes to go down in flames like this, but we also need to look at the bigger picture here. Lives were forever ruined. I've always been a big MJ fan and obviously a HUGE JJ fan, but there comes a time when you can't ignore the obvious truth staring you in the face. I watched this thing with a very open mind, but was actually looking for signs of BS from these two guys or their families, and they just weren't there. It was real, raw emotion, and you could tell it was uncomfortable to talk about after bottling it up for so long.
  23. The defense I see in here of MJ sounds like Trump supporters defending that fool. Y'all living in denial.
