+ Great make-up! Awhile ago I wrote how much better she looks without lots of make-up and here she was looking naturally GORGEOUS!! Is her team reading this forum?! lol + We should give her a break! Festivals are always messy; there's mud, sometimes rain, technical difficulties and delays. At least she showed up and did the show! I actually liked the show from what I saw. When she got into Control I had to laugh. I mean, come on guys, here she is delivering 20-30 year old songs to a crowd who wasn't even born when they were released. The audience seemed to be into her at least to some extent.

I wish Janet would do something new. She should release a lullaby album for babies and kids. And I wish she would lend her voice to some major DJ with whom they could release a worldwide hit which would appeal to the younger audience too.

With Ricky Martin for the Pepsi Commercial. It was released in Europe also, but I don't remember how much promo there was in Europe for it. A duet with Shakira or Enrique Iglesias would have been hot!

To be honest, at this point in her life, I don't expect her to want to "win over" Europe or any other continent for that matter. She's had the success before. I don't know what it is that she wants for her future. Her baby is obviously her priority, as he should be. I was surprised she "came back" with Unbreakable and SOTW. She could have just released some music and make an appearance here and there and then call it a wrap. She loves the tour life and I think that lifestyle and the love from her fans give her comfort after the problems in her personal life. I would like to know, however, what it is that she wants next. I will go to her concert, if she ever performs near me. Other than that, I'm not expecting too much.

There definitely needs to be more promotion! During the Unbreakable Tour there wasn't enough promo and some of the venues weren't selling that well. But I still think that in addition to lots of promo here in Europe she also needs new hit music! Otherwise she will be regarded just as a nostalgic artist... we need something new and fresh from her.

I'm not saying it's forever tarnished, but if she wants to sell out shows (other than maybe London) I believe she needs a new hit song/album to get people interested in her again.

She needs a new big hit in order to "mend her ties" with Europe. The old songs or MFN ain't enough...

These pics don't do her justice. I like the picture from the side of her face with the black wig on. We all can see that she's had some work done, that doesn't even bother me... it's part of her journey and can't be undone. BUT, often times the make up and styling doesn't do her justice. She looked best with long, straight black hair and very simple makeup. Sometimes the contouring of her nose is too shimmering and makes it look unflattering. The less she has make up, the better she looks.

I agree. I think this is the most she can do for the European fans atm, with the Vegas shows in Usa and being a mom to a toddler. I really hope she will do a bigger tour next year - she should. There have been so many cancellations since the TVR Tour and a lot of people have forgotten about her or don't see her as very relevant anymore. This is a good way to start building up the European fanbase again. Janet's Team: if you are reading this and planning a bigger tour in Europe later on, please, please, PLEASE add a Meet&Greet ticket to the ticket options!! It's been too long, I want to finally meet her in person.

I was hoping she would start performing on the different jazz festivals in Europe, like Chaka Khan and Erykah Badu and the likes do. These festivals draw lots of older people (too) and I think they would be a great venue for her to continue touring in Europe during summers. We have this one great jazz festival in my country and I'm secretely wishing she will perform there NEXT year, as she is only doing two gigs this summer. Anyway, glad she's *finally* giving the European fans something too!

Janet will perform this summer in Switzerland at the Montreux Jazz Festival on June 30. It will be her only show in Europe this summer with Glastonbury.

It is good that Beyonce left early. She got a free fun night with her friend and Janet got all the attention backstage. Imagine if Beyonce was there, everyone would want to take pictures with Janet AND Beyonce. This way Janet got to be the Queen of the Night, which she should, cause it was her show. I'm sure they have met, who knows they might have had dinner the next day

I agree. Judging from the videos, Gil planned this show with love and as a fan of Janet. The song choices, intros and surprises were such that only a fan could understand. This wasn't your typical celebration of a long career show, this was a love letter to the fans.

I believe she is taking it a bit slower with the choreo this time on purpose. She has a long run with these Vegas shows so maybe she doesn't want to be as exhausted anymore after every show. Imo she did great for her age and it all looked very eloquent and classy.

And she is 53? I would say more like 33. This look is her BEST in the recent years IMO. Stunning

And yass to that Taurus sign she landed on stage with - brilliant! Embracing her Taurus side (I'm a Taurus too lol so that's why I loved it) And did she really sing China Love? That's what I wished for in this thread earlier. She looks amazing btw

That was definitely a shade lol. I wonder what she thinks of B's Nefertiti impersonation. I mean, who does she think she is. These ladies have nothing on Janet.

Confessions album was very good... I can still listen to it and it... just takes me back... so many great songs. He was so talented.

And IF Janet decides to speak about this, I hope she does it in defence of the victims. I don't see it working out well for her and her future projects if she would publicly defend her brother again. She could say she is sorry for her brother's actions and sorry for MJ hurting the victims. She doesn't need to say whether she believes the accusations or not. But she should acknowledge the fact that many kids were hurt regardless. And she should do it asap in my opinion.
