The reason why I think they didn't perform 'scream' live was of how much of perfectionist they both are. Shooting the video for scream seemed like it was HARD WORK mentally and physically. Janet and Michael are over the top (in a good way) artists that requires a lot of Hard Workers in each team. I.e the fact they had their own choreographers and hairstylists to name a few i think it would had been intense and they both would want to Kill the performance or don't bother.
