T.C
So glad you had a great time. Still surprised people camp outside venues though, that's the only way to guarantee you a close up?
Kishi
So glad you had a great time. Still surprised people camp outside venues though, that's the only way to guarantee you a close up? Yes, even 2 weeks ago at Lana Del Rey, fans were lined up since morning to get front row seats. That was at a 2,000 seat venue though. It was hella crowded. There are VIP packages that get you early access 30 minutes before general admission. I hopped in line at 4pm and hung out with people that were there since the morning and I was pretty close. You could have gotten there late and pushed your way to the front if you needed to.

Aquaria
It's true though, she sold on par with her peers and it was considered a flop for her. She was THE biggest popstar during the Fame Monster and the beginning of Born This Way, the standards she's held to are much greater. That being said, ARTPOP is not avant garde at all except for some elements in a few songs so she needs to drop that she's always self-aggrandizing though
Kishi
The decline was inevitable. I believe she's due for some sort of evolution and reinvention. I just hope she doesn't change her personality, her connection with the fans, and her passion for creating music. Seeing her live is an EXPERIENCE that I'll never forget and she's super talented, I am always rooting for her. Her heart and soul is into her work 100%, love her. Katy and Beyonce have left her in the dust (actually i think even bangerz did better than Artpop too). And i think it's obvious Lana, Adele, Rihanna and Taylor will all outdo her too with their upcoming release. She aint on anyone's level now. It is a shame though since Artpop is better than BTW. Aquaria
Her opening numbers were about the same as Miley and Katy. ARTPOP is not better than BTW. And if we want to talk whose level she's on we'll need to go beyond the sales of one album.

Her singles flop now and her tour is doing way worse than the Born This Way Ball did, and touring was her ultimate power.
Kishi
Yeah, but it all went downhill from there. I guess that's subjective Go beyond? Her singles flop now and her tour is doing way worse than the Born This Way Ball did, and touring was her ultimate power. I do prefer ARTPOP to Born This Way. Born This Way Ball Tour had an album with very successful singles and a massive promotional campaign before it started. The artRave Artpop Ball is supporting an album with 2 decent hits, but has under performed. Given the circumstances, the tour dates are selling 90% to 100% and they aren't going to saturate the market when the demand for Gaga has declined. More dates are being announced, the last tour had stadiums and multiple nights in arenas. This tour is going to a limited amount of stadiums and cities (except for 3 shows each in Paris and London...Tokyo, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Melbourne, Sydney, Birmingham, and Glasgow have two dates each). She won't be pushing herself as hard after the hip injury...that last tour really took it's toll on her.
Aquaria
She is STUNNING like this! It would be amazing to see her reinvent her image... the costumes and wackiness are so done. She can still be artistic and high fashion, in fact it would be nice to see her really do that as she has in the past, without looking like a muppet. Anyway, with her duet jazz album with Tony Bennett coming out this September, I think she's primed for a reinvention.

Her recent tweet about new beginnings has me thinking she's toning it down next time She's definitely cleaning it up as time goes on, but I'm glad she got all of the messy things out of her system. I hope she, the label, and management can start having some sort of common ground.
