The song was a No. 1 success on the R&B chart where it ruled for three weeks, whilst reaching third position on the Hot 100. 'Nobody' was also a Top 10 hit in New Zealand reaching No. 9. Elsewhere the track peaked at No. 22 in Australia and No. 30 in the UK. Its self-titled parent album became Sweat's fifth consecutive No. 1 album on the US R&B chart and remains his best-selling to date. 'Nobody' marks the last time Sweat entered the Top 10 of the Hot 100, falling short in 1998 with the No. 12-peaking 'Come And Get With Me' featuring Snoop Dogg.
