She was BELIEVABLE for once. The first time I didn't see Beyonce the singer wannabe actress. She has it in her, she just has a problem with consistency. hmmmmmm I don't know about that one.. Warner Bros has confirmed that the duo are in negotiations to remake the 1937 classic, which starred Janet Gaynor and Fredric March. Clint - who has directed the forthcoming Hereafter, Invictus and Million Dollar Baby - is in talks to helm, while Beyonce, who has been attached to the project for some time, would star as promising Hollywood starlet Esther Blodgett, later known as Vicki Lester. Billy Gerber, Basil Iwanyk and Jon Peters, who made the 1976 version of the film, are set to produce this fourth version. Corporate spokeswoman Jessica Zacholl notes that the deals have not been finalized and negotiations are ongoing. There have been two notable big-screen adaptations of A Star Is Born since the original.
