TwistedElegance™
I want to do something to maybe spice up the rounds a little because I know personally I really enjoy when we get into the Top 10 whereas the road that leads to it can be a little mundane. So I'm open to suggestions, I thought perhaps I would maybe just post random tidbits about each year, incorporating things like film and TV. Or maybe something a little more interactive?
Reyna ♔
Disclaimer: I totally rambled through this. I think that's a good idea to post the random facts and things. It gives us something to talk about. Those topics also could translate to the elimination questions, too, imo. I wish there was a way to incorporate challenges before elimination like the real Survivor. Maybe a special question from some totally random topic where if answered correctly you can even knock out someone's save vote. That seems more elimination, though. Similarly, winning challenges can get you more choices for eliminations. Win a certain challenge and instead of 3 songs you get "x" amount to eliminate regardless of how many votes are cast for them. For at least one year that's exceptionally bland, I liked the idea from '90s Survivor where everyone picked a song for the Top 20 and all the rest were eliminated immediately. This is all I've got at 2:30 a.m.
TwistedElegance™
^ Yeah, great idea. I'd like to bring it more in line with the real Survivor too. Every Woman In The World, I Don't Need You, Elvira, Crying and Medley have been eliminated. Five songs will be cut this round. List of songs (in alphabetical order): 9 To 5 - Dolly Parton All Those Years Ago - George Harrison Angel of The Morning - Juice Newton Arthur's Theme (Best That You Can Do) - Christopher Cross Being With You - Smokey Robinson Bette Davis Eyes - Kim Carnes The Best of Times - Styx Celebration - Kool & The Gang Endless Love - Diana Ross & Lionel Richie Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic - The Police For Your Eyes Only - Sheena Easton Guilty - Barbra Streisand & Barry Gibb Here I Am (Just When I Thought I Was Over You) - Air Supply I Can't Go For That (No Can Do) - Hall & Oates I Love a Rainy Night - Eddie Rabbitt Jessie's Girl - Rick Springfield Just The Two of Us - Grover Washington, Jr. & Bill Withers Keep On Loving You - REO Speedwagon Kiss On My List - Hall & Oates Let's Groove - Earth, Wind & Fire Morning Train (Nine To Five) - Sheena Easton Oh No - Commodores The One That You Love - Air Supply Passion - Rod Stewart Physical - Olivia Newton-John Private Eyes - Hall & Oates Queen of Hearts - Juice Newton Rapture - Blondie Slow Hand - The Pointer Sisters Start Me Up - The Rolling Stones Step By Step - Eddie Rabbitt Stop Draggin' My Heart Around - Stevie Nicks & Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers Sukiyaki - A Taste of Honey Take It On The Run - REO Speedwagon Theme From Greatest American Hero (Believe It Or Not) - Joey Scarbury (There's) No Gettin' Over Me - Ronnie Milsap The Tide Is High - Blondie Tryin' To Live My Life Without You - Bob Seger Urgent - Foreigner Waiting For a Girl Like You - Foreigner Woman - John Lennon A Woman Needs Love (Just Like You Do) - Ray Parker, Jr. & Raydio Who's Crying Now - Journey You Make My Dreams - Hall & Oates Young Turks - Rod Stewart ____________________ Urgent - Foreigner I Love a Rainy Night - Eddie Rabbitt Start Me Up - The Rolling Stones Save: Stop Draggin' My Heart Around - Stevie Nicks & Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers

Reyna ♔
Ooh! I have an idea! Sporcle is full of different music games and you can also create your own. How about making challenges using it? Guessing lyrics, naming albums, listing the final top 20 according to Billboard, etc. Winners can be chosen based on the fastest times and/or best scores overall and we have to post screenshots at a certain time of the day. Maybe a few hours before elimination (I know we have to consider time zones so that would have to be worked on). Sound good? Too complicated?

TwistedElegance™
So with two votes to save Physical it cancels out the two to send it home which means we have a tie between Being With You by Smokey Robinson and Step By Step by Eddie Rabbitt. First person to correctly identify this piece of 1981 trivia will have the deciding vote. Which iconic musical first opened in London's West End in May of 1981?
