jarrylf
Taylor Swift’s 1989 Expected to Hit 1 Million Sales in Debut Week The singer would be the first to have three albums that sold 1 million copies in their first weeks Taylor Swift’s latest album, released Monday, is on track to hit 1 million in sales during its first week, according toBillboard. That would make1989 the first album in 2014 to reach that watermark, and it would make the 24-year-old the only singer ever to have three albums achieve the one-million-in-one-week feat. Taylor’s last million-selling debut week was Red, which was released in 2012 and sold 1.21 million copies. (Red was also the last million-selling debut week, period.) Before that, the singer had released Speak Now in 2010, which promptly sold 1.05 million copies. http://time.com/3544829/taylor-swift-1989-1-million-sales/

jarrylf
What's VERY applaudable and commendable for her whether you love her, hate her or don't really care either way that much (me), she benefits from retailers and the physical copies as much if not more than her digital, and is certainly the only act out today that does, and what's funny is, it's VERY easy to see why besides just the dedicated fanbase but because Target's gonna have different bonus tracks than Wallmart & starbucks.....that's awesome! I seriously don't understand how & why most artists don't try to do that. That's ensuring the fans HAVE to buy multiple copies for different songs!

Plus speak for yourself on most of them aren't worth it lol, Theres been SO many albums where bonus tracks were better & more memorable than standard album tracks so I very much disagree
kidfresh832
What's interesting to me is she got loyalty across genres now. Country fans were always more loyal and actually buy music still . But they seem to have followed her even with a complete pop album. Gotta give her credit I guess
jarrylf
YES, the country fans DON'T PLAY! When it comes to music & TV, they will show OUT!
hotboy06
Her slayage reminds me of Adele in 2011..except for the 10 million seller..but she has a loyal fanbase and the change to Pop seems it's not stopping her. I wonder how her second week sales are gonna be.

Reyna ♔
Is country radio still supporting her playing these singles? I listen to several country stations and I haven't heard any of them. Billboard says "no", too.

Rock & Roll Hall of Game
Grabbin the country fans and hipsters/youths.. Of course she's gonna sail past the million markIs country radio still supporting her playing these singles? She reached Top 50 on the Country charts with Shake It Off but that's nothing compared to what she's use to

Forget buying multiple versions... But yes - bonus tracks can be better. (Rollwitchu for example).
RedSimba
Yeah, Let Me Know was actually my favorite from Discipline. Should've at the very least been a hidden track.

AND HELLS TO THE YES, theres soooo many albums whre I'll re-arrange the tracklist to bring the deserving bonus tracks to higher numbers, and the filler DOWN. And I won't say which songs I'd switch out the standard edition of 20 for both Days Go By & Rollwitchu (cause I know people like dese songs...but I consider them filler).
