Rihanna may be keeping fans on the edge of their seats in anticipation for her upcoming eighth studio album, allegedly titled "R8," however, as recent headlines suggest the "Diamonds" singer is also working on a few more upcoming film-related projects in addition to pumping out new music, it seems RihRih has a lot on her plate. Despite her busy schedule, new reports suggest that the songstress is about to add another accomplishment to her already impressive résumé.

International Business Times AU reports that Rihanna is allegedly replacing actress Charlize Theron as the face of "J'adore Dior," which would make the songstress the first black woman to represent the iconic brand. The rumors came shortly after a music director accidentally leaked the information on Facebook ahead of Rihanna or the brand's publicity team.

Daily Star UK first reported the story, noting that a New York-based producer posted a behind-the-scenes photo of a film set on his Facebook, tagging the Barbadian beauty in the post. The photos allegedly showed Rihanna shooting a commercial, that has been rumored to drop later this year, for the iconic J'adore Dior ads.

The photos showed the ads being shot at the Palace of Versailles' Hall of Mirrors in which the songstress donned a sparkly, sequined dress. The post also noted that Rihanna spent a whopping ten hours filming on her first day.

The decision to bring Rihanna on board stems from the brand's alleged decision to target a younger, newer consumer base, of which Rihanna has captured the attention of quite well.

If the news is true, Rihanna would make history as the first black female to ever represent the iconic luxury brand.

They're trying to reach a younger base and Rihanna brings it

Well, she does fit their last collection style so yeah...

The biggest part of this is that Dior was founded in the 40's and it took them this long to make a black person their muse and face of the company... :umm:
