What the fuck is she saying? Any lyrics available?

I think this is what she's saying:

It's fait accompli

We ain't gonna get no sleeep.

A vision running 'round in my head

But I don't really talk about it

I'm loving what you're doing to me

And I don't wanna do without it

Day and night

I dream of us doing whatever

But I guess I'll have to wait

Until that day comes

nnnnnnnn she's known for creeping back in quietly, she did that with both Janet and VR.....my concern is its R&B str8up and that may not fly that hard over pop driven radio, its a great cut from what I can hear, but if she wants to give the "movement" some legs I think she's saving the best for later....its a great track, its just not uptempo and I think this time around maybe going uptempo and hit em fast and hard may be the better lead...worked for AFY

In this climate where people's attention spans are like 2 seconds is best to save the best for first, but its a short clip so its hard to judge.  Content wise I thought the first single be about something else due to the country being damn near on the verge of a racial apocalypse.  People need it right now.  Radio is absolutely dreadful.  It is like a no win situation.  Make something ratchet and they'll say act your age.  Make good grown music and they won't play it because its not ratchet enough.  I'm anxious to see how this goes.

not sure how I feel about a midtempo over uptempo.....and it's her big reintro so maybe try something a bit more I dunno know faster?

I remember in 1993 when people said that TTWLG was going to bomb because people expect huge, uptempo songs for Janet. But the song went on to be one of her most successful #1 singles.

I don't think Janet is worried about radio or charts. I think sales are where she's focused and she's been using alternate channels to solicit those sales. She seems to be trying a new model.

No one listens to radio anymore, anyway. I haven't listened to the radio in YEARS.

Let's just focus on helping her to trend and to sell.

i like the slower vibe. save the upbeat closer to album release

how about two singles? one that drops like this, and then something before the album? I dont know I dont have the answer here, if we heard the entire track that'd be different....I cant say off of this alone ...Im not sure

okay Im done here, its not lead single stuff, its too laid back, maybe if she went two tracks, but that says one wins the other doesnt....I will say R&B is pretty dead with big audiences, so save it for the album, but something else should lead

I get what you're saying, but let's not jump to conclusions just yet. Janet seems to have something more up her sleeve.

Yeah. Nothing wrong with a slow song.  That's the way love goes had that bass in it through out the song that made it special. We haven't heard all the instrumentals and the build up from the verse to the chorus yet on this one.  That's important.  Its still an interesting choice with the name of the tour being Unbreakable which is so powerful.

that only says what we have said here, cant make that call without hearing the entire song, and someone else said what I felt, "dynamic" I was kinda hoping it had a lot more to it, that snippet should do the song no justice, that snippet should only be a portion of something much more, if it isnt ? well

too midtempo general audiences will dismiss it because she's Janet, a dance artist, and very R&B ....I could bet if I check the top 10 on the hot 100. No R&B, now if its good music? drop it, fuck em....but dont expect a huge positive response, esp when it compares to TTWLG
