That Rihanna reign just won’t let up. According to the RIAA, the vivacious singer has surpassed more than 100 million gold and platinum song certifications, placing her as the top artist with the most Digital Single Awards.

In a press release, the RIAA reveals that the Bajan bombshell is the first and only artist to surpass their 100 million cumulative singles award threshold. Can you say winning? Today (July 1), Rihanna earned 48 million new RIAA Digitial Single Certifications, which counts both download sales and on-demand streams in the U.S.

RiRi’s astute hit-making abilities range from her 9X multi-platinum award for “We Found Love,” 6X multi-platinum records “Stay,” “What’s My Name” and “Only Girl (In the World),” 2X multi-platinum record “FourFiveSeconds” and her new platinum single, “Bitch Better Have My Money.”

“Gold & Platinum is the industry’s premier way to celebrate achievement in the marketplace,” said Cary Sherman, Chairman & CEO, RIAA. “We’ve given awards to artists for nearly 60 years, but it’s rare that we have the opportunity to recognize a milestone like the one Rihanna has reached. Congratulations to Rihanna! She has not only surpassed RIAA’s one-hundred million mark, but also is the first artist to do so. It’s an historic feat and a testament to an extraordinary career.”

In terms of album sales, Rihanna amassed 7.5 million sold in the U.S. alone, with her 2007 release of Good Girl Gone Bad going double platinum.

Congrats to Rihanna on her new accomplishment. The 27-year-old is currently working on her new album, R8, and the official release of her new video for “Bitch Better Have My Money,” which is set to drop Thursday (July 2).

Slay! When she debuted I NEVER expected her to last. But she's proved me wrong time after time. I know R8 has been a little but and I'm sure she'll bounce back but these accomplishments in such a short space of time are fucking amazing. 10 years and she's already done so much.
