Nothing she said was offensive to Taylor but it did poke holes at MTVs system even if it wasn't relevant for this year nominees. Taylor butt in and looked like a hypocrite talking about feminism as if she didn't just have a hit with a song about Katy Perry. It was typical Taylor trying to come across as the good girl but this time it didn't work and the media picked up on it. It won't affect her though - she's Americas sweetheart and I see her team is already pushing the cancer story to gain sympathy and do some "damage control". Nickis points were great though about "racism" in the industry but Anaconda is NOT what should have started the discussion again :lmao:. And I wish she'd speak about it when she isn't the supposed victim. Azealia said it months ago yet Nicki stayed quiet. That categories nominees just shows how underwhelming videos have become tbh. Bad Blood was a pile of overhyped shit. 7/11 was basic but cute which kind of works in it's favour but meh. Uptown Funk is fun but meh - the song > the video. Ed Sheerans video is boring. I haven't seen Kendrick - they should give it to him.
