Greg Harris, CEO of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, was named president and CEO of the Rock Hall in 2012. Harris has been with the museum since 2008, which means he's led planning for three of the four induction ceremonies held in Cleveland.The Class of 2016 nomineesinclude N.W.A., Nine Inch Nails, Yes, Deep Purple, Chaka Khan, The Smiths, The Spinners and others."It's an incredible ballot we have this year," says Harris. "You think about these 15 nominees and any five of them would be fantastic."The biggest name on this year's ballot is easily Janet Jackson, who, if inducted, would be the biggest solo artist to enter the Rock hall since Madonna in 2008."One could say if Madonna is in, Janet Jackson should be in," Harris says.
