Aquaria Posted February 18, 2011 Share Posted February 18, 2011 to be honest i love the set of the video reminds of of a fabulous club in nyc and the editing was great i also like that the vid is in HD but that's about it everything is fine but her, the star of the damn video. you can tell so much money, so much thought, so much effort went into that, and she might as well have not even shown up. They should re-cast Britney Spears. She doesn't sing, she doesn't dance, let's do Britney 2.0 and let the old girl retire. A little bit overwhelming. Not among her best. That was the point. Same as her having the entire Barnum and Bailey circus at her last tour. Anything to distract the audience from how drugged up and lifeless she is. They need not have even spent money on choreography, they clearly wanted to hide her stumbling around. Everything about it was tacky you can tell they wanted to jam every Britney product in the video to get her to sell it while she is in her brief moments of being sane. I don't really get why people feel bad for Britney fans - most of them are very happy with the video, from what I can tell. It's clear she has mental health issues, and it seems to me that she's likely on a medication that's affecting her abilities. It's not laziness that gives her that "dead in the eyes" look. I've been around a number of people who have bipolar disorder and related issues, and when they're medicated, they often get that "out of it" "I don't give a fuck" attitude.
