Why Britney aint seen double platinum since 2003? :coffee:

Because she hasn't promoted any of them. GHMP and Blackout got NOTHING while Circus got like 3 performances.

Why can Bey only get 2x platinum from 500 awards show performances? Why is it that GaGa's lowest-selling single from The Fame Monster was featuring Bey? Why is it that Bey doesn't appear on the top 100 biggest singles of all time except for GaGa's song which wasn't even a huge hit by GaGa's standards? :coffee:

You said her label told her she didn't have a hit...I said there's no reason they wouldn't supported her first solo effort though.

What don't you comprehend?

You are responding with the same answer TWICE...and the response to that is the SAME...

If they told her she doesn't have any hits on her album, WTF would a label put money into promoting the album?

Umm...doesn't them telling her that she doesn't have a hit and wanting to release Kelly's first mean they weren't gonna support it :coffee:

That was the first and main "issue" B) Ashanti didn't have any problem until Beyonce was playing sniper at the BET awards with that "Crazy In Love" performance B)THAT'S what caused all of Ashanti's "issues", because people still can't remember if she performed or what she performed...and I wonder why...

If Ashanti had a leveled playing field who knows what could've happened.

Ashanti's label issues prevented that leveled playing field.... because of this Beyonce (who already had a built in audience thanks to DC) was able to take advantage of that.

That aint got shit to do with shit. Beyonce didn't promote her album in 2009 and she still moved 4 million+ copies.

Why wasn't Gaga the top female artist of the decade? Why didn't Gaga win 6 Grammys in one night? Why doesn't Gaga have a video as culturally significant as "Single Ladies"? Why doesn't Gaga have 16 Grammys? Why doesn't Gaga have 5 #1s? Why doesn't Gaga appear on any of the decade end charts? Why hasn't Gaga been #1 on any Forbes lists? :coffee:

Say what?!?!?! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: If anything, Ashanti was above Beyonce when Bey came out...Ashanti was already more than well established as a solo artist. Bey was leaving a girl group and, as Austin pointed out, her label were telling her she didn't have any hits on the album. Bey came and killed Ashanti :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Beyonce pressed Ashanti's delete button at the BET awards, and then they came with that junk about her having label problems :lmao:

If the label didn't put money into promoting the album...there would be NO album. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Beyonce and her management (her father), stuck to their guns regarding the material on the project (they could've just went back and re-did the whole project to appease the label) and the ultimately supported it... For example, Janet and the TTWLG situation. The label wanted If, but Janet stuck to her guns on what she felt was right for the project...and ultimately the label supported her.

Meaning they didn't cave into the label basically saying they were gonna push Kelly more...you're basically contradicting yourself :coffee:

The label didn't say they would push Kelly more or less.

They simply said Kelly album had the hits, and Bey's contained none. They didn't change the material...and the label supported it ultimately...what's so difficult to understand?

The recording of an album is done BEFORE the album is recorded. Ever heard of an "ADVANCE"????? That ADVANCE is money artists get to use for studio time, producer fees, songwriter fees, etc. In Beyonce's case, it's not like she didn't already have money. Plus, Beyonce funds her own projects so she has a higher royalty rate and makes more from album sales. Like with B'day, Beyonce spent her own money on everything associated with the project.
